Rose is an infectious skin disease that causes inflammation. The first symptoms of erysipelas are erythema appearing on the skin, which may be accompanied by blisters. Patients have elevated body temperature and complain of chills.

Rose – causes

The infectious disease, called rose, is caused by streptococci, which are classified as cocci. The infection occurs through lymphatic vessels or mechanical trauma.

Rose symptoms

The most characteristic symptom of erysipelas is erythema with swelling that appears on the skin of the face and lower limbs (most often). The skin in these places is stretched, tense and warmed. Erythema is irregular in shape and may be accompanied by purulent blisters. The lymph nodes closest to the diseased tissue are enlarged and painful. The disease is accompanied by fever.

Traveling a rose does not give you immunity, on the contrary, it predisposes you to reinfection. The untreated rose “travels” through the lymphatic vessels – which is very characteristic of it – giving the projections to healthy tissue, it can also cause purulent complications, including systemic infection.

Rose – treatment

Rose treatment is based on antibiotic therapy and the use of ointments that alleviate the course of erythema.
