Robert Plant won an Honorary Jazz Prize

Famous musician Robert Plant, ex-frontman of the legendary group Led Zeppelin, will receive an honorary prize at the Montreal International Jazz Festival.

The award ceremony will take place on June 24 during a performance by the musician and his Band of Joy in Montreal. The Jazz Festival kicks off the next day, June 25th, and ends in early July.

By the way, in the past, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and others became laureates of the prestigious award.

Meanwhile, Robert Plant intends to visit Russia with concerts. The performance of the cult musician will take place on July 27 in St. Petersburg and on July 29 in Moscow.

Recall that the recent performance of the British musician Sting on Palace Square in St. Petersburg, which lasted more than three hours, gathered a crowd of thousands of fans and spectators who are not indifferent to music… Some of the fans sat on the rooftops of the souvenir stalls, while the rest of the audience evenly filled the area where Sting performed.
