Rivel is a preparation for disinfecting the skin and mucous membranes, boils, abscesses, mixed skin inflammations (bacterial and fungal), after insect bites. The active substance of the preparation is ethacridine lactate, which has an antibacterial effect, especially against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, as well as antifungal. The preparation is a topical gel and is available without a prescription.

Rivel is a preparation for disinfecting:

  1. skin and mucous membranes,
  2. boils,
  3. ropni,
  4. mixed dermatitis (bacterial and fungal),
  5. places after insect bites.

Dosage

Rivel is a gel for topical application, a small layer should be applied to the affected skin or mucosa. You can also use the drug under dressings.

  1. use 2-3 times a day, and more often if necessary.

Rivel and contraindications

The contraindication to the use of Rivel gel are:

  1. allergy to any ingredient of the preparation,
  2. other acridine derivatives,
  3. not for use in children under 2 years of age.

Rivel – warnings

  1. Rivel should not be used orally or on large areas of the skin.
  2. Avoid contact of the drug with eyes and clothes (in the event of stains, use alcohol or a mixture of 6% vinegar and hot water in a ratio of 1,5: 1).
  3. In the event of local allergic symptoms, the treatment should be discontinued.
  4. Pregnant and breastfeeding women may use Rivel only after consulting a doctor and if absolutely necessary.

Rivel with other medications

When using Rivel gel, the following may appear:

  1. local allergic reactions, including erythema, itching and rash
