Riposton is a dietary supplement that is usually consumed after excessive alcohol consumption. The composition of Riposton was composed in such a way as to compensate for the deficiencies of electrolytes and minerals after copious doses of alcohol. What exactly is included in the Riposton supplement and how to dose it? Are there any contraindications to the use of Riposton?
Riposton – analysis of the composition of the supplement
Riposton, in short, is a supplement that is supposed to help with a tiring hangover. Consuming too much alcohol most often leads to dehydration, which is manifested by headache, thirst, nausea, diarrhea, motor disorders or even photophobia the next day. The balance of electrolytes and minerals can effectively reduce hangover symptoms. We will therefore look at what ingredients responsible for reducing hangover are in the Riposton supplement.
- Glucose – is the main and basic component of Riposton. Two effervescent tablets contain approx. 2,2 g of glucose. Glucose raises the level of sugar in the body, the decrease of which is observed when drinking alcohol.
- Sodium – is another of the main ingredients in Riposton. One dose of the preparation contains approx. 650 mg of sodium. Sodium is an extremely important element that affects the water and electrolyte balance. When consuming alcohol in large amounts, it is excreted from the body with urine.
- Potassium – there is 360 mg of potassium in a dose of the Riposton supplement. This element plays an important role in the proper functioning of the heart and neuromuscular conduction. As with sodium, it is eliminated from the body when alcohol is consumed in large amounts.
- Choline – a dose of Riposton contains approx. 83 mg of choline. Choline is an organic chemical also known as vitamin B4. Its task is to prevent the accumulation of fatty acids in the liver, which prevents the fatty acid in this organ. However, such a small amount of choline in a dose of this supplement has rather little effect on this property of vitamin B4.
- Auxiliary ingredients – citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, choline tartrate, malic acid, dried red beet concentrate, flavor, polyethylene glycol, sucralose, color, riboflavin.
Riposton – how does it work and when to use it?
Riposton is a dietary supplement that is intended for adults. It is used to replace fluid and minerals lost, especially as a result of excessive alcohol consumption. Riposton is a drug available in the form of water-soluble effervescent tablets, which hydrate the body and, with the help of choline, support the liver function.
Riposton – dosage
The dosage of Riposton is very easy. Adults should dissolve two tablets of the supplement in 400 ml of water and drink it immediately after preparing the drink. Do not exceed the recommended dose of the supplement.
Riposton – contraindications to the use of the drug
Despite the positive effect of the supplement on hangover symptoms, Riposton cannot be used by all patients. Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug is a contraindication to the use of the drug. It is also worth remembering that maintaining good health largely depends on a properly balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Before use, read the leaflet, which contains indications, contraindications, data on side effects and dosage as well as information on the use of the medicinal product, or consult your doctor or pharmacist, as each drug used improperly is a threat to your life or health.
