Riga is a kind of otherworld. Surrounded by neighbors on the Baltic coast, this sister of the three is the kindest, the brightest, the most cheerful and open. For dinner, we move to the fish Le Dome, where Salvis Putans cooks fish the way you always wanted. An elegant restaurant in the heart of the old town with huge photos of fishermen on the walls and a good wine list — just what you need for an evening meal. The next day, go to the medieval Rozengrals, where all the lighting is created only by candles, and in the middle of the hall there is a real medieval well. Then-to everyone’s favorite Garage, a restaurant where it is delicious and pleasant to sit with friends, trying various snacks and the same perlotto under a bottle or two of good wine. Don’t forget to watch and participate in the main culinary experiment of Riga this autumn — go to the restaurant “Three Cooks”, where there is no menu, and the starters draw you on paper. It’s worth it!

Discover new things, discover delicious things: if you want something sweet — then you can go to a small cafe V. Kuze, because it is there that you can enjoy hand-made sweets. And if there are not enough sweets — it’s time to try handmade chocolate from Emil Gustav. And you also need to bring bread from Riga. Laci bread, which has nothing to do with the well-known “Riga”bread. The small family-owned production company eventually became the most famous bakery in the country, providing bakery products not only to Riga and Latvia, but also to the countries of Northern Europe. 

But all this is not the main thing. The main thing is that you will still come back. Go back to this city for that table in that very restaurant, buy a gift of Laima candy, take a walk around the old town, leave all your worries somewhere far away, then come back again. And that’s great!
