PSYchology

Psychologists, working with a client’s problem, always turn to resource states that give a person the strength to cope with difficulties, fill him with vital energy, and help him believe in himself. A psychological resource can be childhood memories, happy moments of life, communication with friends, travel, family album…

Nature. On earth, every person has places that will forever remain in his memory. And there is nothing exotic, supernatural in them, but you want to return there again and again, because there you feel calm, you feel harmony between yourself and the world, you are filled with strength and desire to live.

One day I accidentally found myself in an amazing PLACE OF POWER — a high hill, blown from all sides by winds, scorched by the sun, wrapped in a delicate aroma of thyme. At the foot of the hill there is an Orthodox church, a village immersed in lush greenery, endless expanses of fields stretching far into the horizon and a holy spring filled with the power of the Russian land.

At the top of the hill, there is an irresistible desire to spread your arms, turn your face to the sky, take a deep breath of air and feel how extraordinary power fills every cell of your body, how your feet stand firmly on the ground, how the vital energy of the sun spreads from head to toe.

Memories of the hill, like drops of a miraculous elixir, relieve stress, fill with a positive attitude to life, excite the desire to return again and again to an amazing PLACE OF POWER.

Childhood memories. Psychologists consider childhood the most resourceful. On cloudy days of life from childhood memories it becomes easy and sunny on the soul.

Grandmother … You noticed how in a conversation about their grandmothers, people come to life, brighten, smile. Someone remembers summer holidays in the countryside, someone remembers warm socks knitted by their grandmother, someone grandma’s pies with apples, jam, eggs and green onions …

Grandma’s pies — the taste of childhood! I remember how my grandmother spoiled me with carrot pies, then with caramels, then with cabbage … Vivid childhood memories of the tantalizing aroma of baking, golden crust, appetizingly steaming filling, freshly baked pie, burning impatient children’s fingers, fill the heart with love and joy being.

Psychologists say that photographs, souvenirs, books and various pleasant little things are the keepers of resource memories of happy meetings, distant countries, great successes and small victories.

Summer. The sun. Sea. Bottom. I persistently, again and again, dive into the salt water to get from the bottom of the stone that attracted my attention. And so it happened, I joyfully unclench my fingers, there are pebbles in my palm, nothing special, a stone like a stone, but for me it is a symbol of victory, perseverance and achieving the goal “I did it! I did it!»

Many years later. In difficult moments, I take out the treasured stone from the box, hold it in my fist and again remember that joyful feeling of faith in my own strength: “I can! I will do it!»

Flip through the best pages of the past, find vivid childhood stories, discover amazing places of nature, collect a piggy bank of little things that are pleasant for the heart, which in difficult moments of life will be a source of strength and positive for you.
