Reparil dragees

Reparil-Dragees is a drug used in family medicine angiology to treat post-traumatic edema and hematoma, as well as circulatory disorders. The preparation has an effect on the cardiovascular system, has anti-inflammatory and anti-swelling properties. Reparil-Dragees is available as dragees and can be obtained without a prescription.

Indications for use of Reparil-Dragees

The active ingredient in Reparil-Dragees is escin with analgesic, anti-swelling and anti-inflammatory properties, reducing the permeability of blood vessels and increasing their elasticity. Reparil-Dragees is given to treat:

  1. post-traumatic and postoperative edema and hematomas,
  2. venous circulation disorders of the lower extremities,
  3. varicose veins of the lower extremities,
  4. back pain in patients with symptoms of compression of the roots of the spinal nerves of the cervical spine.

Dosage of Reparil-Dragees: orally, after a meal, usually initially 40 mg three times a day. For maintenance treatment: 20 mg 2-3 times a day.

Reparil-Dragees and contraindications and warnings

  1. Contraindication to the use of Reparil-Dragees are: renal failure, first trimester of pregnancy.
  2. Reparil-Dragees should not be used in edema caused by heart failure.
  3. Caution should be exercised in the case of renal dysfunction and consult a doctor before using the preparation.
  4. Reparil-Dragees contains lactose.
  5. Before using the drug in women in the second or third trimester of pregnancy or during breastfeeding, a doctor should be consulted.
  6. The preparation is contraindicated in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Reparil-Dragees – interactions with other drugs: They are not known.

Reparil-Dragees – side effects: At the beginning of treatment, you may experience a feeling of heat, nausea, increased heart rate, itching of the skin.
