In Chinese energy, this preparation is used to treat the Emptiness of Energy and Blood at the level of the Heart.

Associated symptoms : palpitations, reduced memory, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of appetite, chronic difficult to heal wound, muscle cramps in the legs, pale tongue, weak and deep pulse.

Dosage

As this formula comes in different forms and strengths, it is important to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations. A tonic should be taken at least for a month. Can be used long term.

History

This formula is cited in the Tai Ping Hui Min He Ji Ju Fang (Imperial formulas of the time Tai Ping), a work written between 1078 and 1085.

Research

A study in animal models has shown that taking Ren Shen Yang Rong Wan in decoction increases the ability to defend against infections: activation of macrophages and acceleration of the elimination of bacteria.1

Another controlled study in mice showed that the same product increased the effectiveness of prednisolone (deltahydrocortisone), a designer drug used to treat autoimmune diseases.2
