Remifemin is a drug based on the extract of black cohosh, used to relieve discomfort associated with the menopause and relieve menstrual discomfort. Black cohosh root, the extract of which is the main ingredient of Remifemin, has many valuable pro-health properties and works similarly to female sex hormones (estrogens), therefore it is great for treating ailments caused by a deficiency of these hormonal substances. It can also be useful in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, which often occurs during the menopause, which is associated with the deficiency of female sex hormones (estrogens) during this period.
