Redd’s beer: history, review + interesting facts

Redd’s is an ale drink similar to beer, but with little to no important ingredient – hops. It epitomizes luxury and sophistication. Its target audience is women.

History of Redd’s Beer

2003 Production of Redd’s began at the plant in Kaluga after an order from SABMiller from Poland.

2009 For design, the beer was awarded a silver medal in the Packaging Design category at the Design Effectiveness Award in the UK.

2012 To continue working in Russia, the company merged with Anadolu EFES, becoming an Efes Rus enterprise. The enterprise became the second in terms of sales in the Russian alcohol market.

2020 The brand is still owned by Efes Rus. The holding’s responsibilities include controlling the production of licensed brands and beer imports in Russia. The company owns eight breweries and four malt factories.

Types of beer

At the moment, only Redd’s Premium, 4,5% with apple flavor is available in Russia. It has a golden color, a lush foam cap, a fruity taste and aroma with a slight sourness. However, in other countries, the brand offers a number of other flavors (peach, blueberry and other special editions)

Interesting Facts

  1. During the advertising campaign, the company supplied products to various events, where it found some of its fans. Redd’s has become associated with good mood and fun, which has a positive impact on the reputation.

  2. Before appearing in Russia, the drink was produced in Poland, where the beautiful part of humanity also liked it.

  3. Hops in the recipe are minimized, but the composition contains barley malt, cane sugar, maltose syrup, flavorings and malic acid.
