After sports, it is very important to restore the old energy, especially if the training takes place in the morning, also on the working day. Isotonic drinks can help you with this – drinks that contain salts and trace elements lost during intense physical activity. You can prepare such drinks yourself from juices, honey, salt and sugar.
Classic isotonic
You will need 300 ml of fruit or berry juice, 200 ml of water and a pinch of salt.
Mix all the ingredients in advance and shake well before use. Drink during or immediately after your workout.
Regidron
A lot of salt is lost during cardio. Take in the pharmacy rehydron – a means to restore the body’s water-salt balance, 2 sachets, juice of 2 lemons, 3 tablespoons of honey and 500 ml of water.
Dissolve rehydron and mix with the rest of the ingredients. This drink should be started in small portions after training for 3-4 hours.
Ginger isotonic
You will need fresh ginger root, juice of 3 oranges and 3 tablespoons of honey, a liter of water.
Peel the ginger root and cut into slices. Boil the ginger in water for 5 minutes, let the water cool, add orange juice and honey, mix everything thoroughly.
Recovery shake
Take 500 ml of fruit juice, banana, 3 tablespoons of glucose, 3 tablespoons of protein, 2 pinches of salt.
Combine the ingredients in a blender and whisk until smooth. This drink should be consumed within 30 minutes after a hard workout.
Berry isotonic
Prepare 150 grams of cranberries, 80 grams of sugar, a teaspoon of salt and 600 ml of water.
Mash the berries, squeeze the juice out of them and rub through a sieve. The cake from the berries should be boiled in water for 5 minutes, strain the solution and cool. Combine both liquids, add sugar and salt and stir thoroughly.
