Method of preparation

Chop the onion, cut the carrots into small cubes and sauté. Cut potatoes, parsley into cubes. Prepared cereals (p. 61), potatoes, browned vegetables are placed in boiling broth or water and cooked until tender. 5-10 minutes before the end of cooking, put salt and spices. Rice groats are placed in broth or water at the same time as sauteed vegetables. Semolina is poured into the soup 10 minutes before its readiness. Potato soup with pearl barley can be prepared with fish, the head of fish of the sturgeon family. Cooked chunks and portions of fish are cooked separately. Vegetable oil can be used in the fish soup.
