Raspberry “Beauty of Russia” is a domestic hybrid that combines the best qualities of mother plants. Its fruits are universal, suitable for fresh consumption, canning and freezing. But these are not all the advantages of the variety, there are others.
Description of the raspberry variety “Beauty of Russia”
The variety was bred in 1990 in Moscow from crossing of two well-known varieties “Maroseyka” and “Mirage”. The daughter shrub was named “Beauty of Russia”.

The shrub is medium-sized, its shoots reach a height of 2 m, gives little root growth. Shoots without thorns, elastic, do not break when bent, slightly pubescent. The berries are large, the average weight of one is 12 g. The yield of the bush is high, with proper care there are about 20 berries on one fruit branch. Fruits are dense, regular conical shape, elongated, deep red, pleasant to the taste. Raspberry leaves are corrugated, dark green, evenly distributed over the shrub.
Fruiting of raspberries is long. The first harvest begins to take off at the beginning of July. The berries ripen in waves, so in August you can enjoy a delicious berry. At least 5 crops are harvested in one season.
Advantages and disadvantages of the raspberry “Beauty of Russia”
The advantages of the variety include high yield, large berries and a number of other characteristics:

The shrub tolerates a drop in temperature to -26 ° C, lower rates are detrimental to the root system. Raspberries can be grown in the sun as the berries do not wither or bake. You can propagate the bush yourself, daughter plants completely retain their maternal qualities, raspberries do not degenerate.
Among these advantages, there are significant disadvantages that do not allow cultivating the variety in conditions of harsh winters and regions with a humid climate. Poor weather conditions adversely affect the condition of the bush, it often begins to hurt, it can freeze out. In addition, berries are stored for only a few hours, they do not tolerate transportation at all.
