Raspberry jam day was invented by the service community in 2015. The choice of the date of the holiday is not accidental – in Russia this day was called and was dedicated to the berry, beloved for a long time by everyone, regardless of age and social status.
Raspberries have been appreciated at all times for their taste and useful qualities and were used not only as a food product, but also as a healing agent against colds and to increase immunity. Until now, raspberries are loved and widely used in cooking (pies, jelly, jelly, etc.). It is harvested for future use in a variety of ways – dried, frozen, compotes and jams are boiled.
We will talk about it. It is very easy to prepare it – cover the raspberries with sugar and cook for about 20 minutes, and then roll them into jars.
Raspberry jam has many benefits: it contains natural salicylic acid (the main constituent of most anti-inflammatory and antipyretic drugs); preserves youth (vitamins A, E, PP, B2 are responsible for vitality, skin elasticity and an even complexion); contains a lot of copper (that is, it is practically an antidepressant) and iron (which helps to improve hematopoiesis), and also, unlike aspirin, does not provoke gastritis and stomach ulcers.
Even in Russian proverbs, sayings, fairy tales and songs, raspberries are found more often than all other plants, except perhaps birch. As a rule, raspberries are associated with something very pleasant and desirable. Maybe that’s why the saying about a good life sounds like: “Not life, but raspberries!”
So today we invite you to join the celebration of the darling of adults and children. And, of course, try making your own raspberry jam or other dishes with this tasty and healthy berry.
Recall that on July 19, another raspberry holiday is celebrated -.
