Decorating a Christmas tree is a kind of ritual. Every year, under December 31, a box is removed from nowhere, and in it are balls and papier-mâché figurines, garlands and fairy-tale heroes made of glass, snowmen, fir cones wrapped in foil, stars, icicles.
Christmas decorations are the most “tenacious”, they are carefully stored and passed on from generation to generation. “A collector’s guide” will not leave anyone indifferent, because we are all collectors of Christmas tree decorations to one degree or another. Someone, having looked through the book, will remember the happy moments of childhood, someone will begin to evaluate the cost of their home kit, and someone will go to choose a rare gift. By the way, this year the retro style triumphs in the New Year’s decor.
