Raphacholin Forte is an over-the-counter medicine used in patients with diseases of the biliary tract. It helps fight indigestion and has a gentle laxative effect. It is intended for adults only.

Raphacholin Forte – action
Raphacholin Forte is a drug whose properties are directly related to the presence of the active substance. Dehydrocholic acid and auxiliary ingredients (dry extract of black radish root, peppermint oil) show cholagogic and choleretic properties, and also contribute to stimulating intestinal peristalsis.
Raphacholin Forte – intended use and dosage
The indication for the use of Raphacholin Forte is an insufficient amount of bile secreted. The preparation can also be administered to patients struggling with indigestion, which is manifested by abdominal pain, flatulence, belching, constipation.
Dosage
The dosage depends on the indication:
- indigestion: 1 tablet after a meal – up to 3 times a day
- constipation: 2 tablets once (laxative effect occurs up to 6 hours).
Raphacholin Forte – contraindications to use
Raphacholin Forte is a drug that cannot be administered:
- in people who are hypersensitive to any component of the preparation,
- children,
- pregnant and breastfeeding women,
- in the case of biliary obstruction, gastrointestinal obstruction, chronic liver diseases, acute inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract.
Raphacholin Forte – warnings
Warnings regarding the use of Raphacholin Forte:
- the drug may shift the gallstones,
- in case of indigestion, the daily dose must not exceed 6 tablets,
- do not use for more than 7 days without medical consultation,
- people suffering from cholelithiasis may take the drug only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Raphacholin Forte – drug interactions
No interactions of Raphacholin Forte with other drugs have been found. Before starting the treatment, it is worth informing the doctor about all the preparations you are taking – including those without a prescription.
Raphacholin Forte – side effects
Raphacholin Forte, like other drugs, can cause certain side effects. Patients may complain about gastrointestinal disorders. Allergic reactions in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation are also possible.

The drug has no influence on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery / machines.
