Raisin tincture: 3 recipes at home

After the grapes turn into raisins, up to 80% of the nutrients are retained in it. And besides confectionery, this product makes excellent homemade alcohol.

So that the color scheme of the finished tincture is not too boring and dull, you should choose maroon and large dark seedless raisins.

Universal recipe for raisin tincture

The versatility of this recipe lies in the fact that you can exclude or combine the ingredients that are listed in the recipe marked “optional”.

Ingredients

  1. Raisins – 150 g

  2. Vodka – 500 ml

  3. Sugar / flower honey – 30-100 g (to taste)

  4. Vanillin – 1 pinch (optional)

  5. Black pepper (peas) – 5 pcs. (optional)

  6. Black tea – 1 tsp. (optional)

  7. Bay leaf – 1 pc. (optional)

Method of preparation

  1. Raisins need to be washed and dried a little.

  2. We put all the ingredients in a glass container and fill it with prepared alcohol.

  3. We leave the drink for a week at room temperature in a poorly lit place. Be sure to shake the contents of the container once a day.

  4. After 7 days, we filter the tincture, squeeze out the pulp, filter and bottle. Also at this stage, you can further sweeten the drink.

  5. Before tasting, keep the raisin tincture for another 2-3 days in a cool place.

Spicy raisin tincture

Ingredients

  1. Raisins – 400 g

  2. Moonshine – 700 ml

  3. Orange – 1 pcs.

  4. Brown sugar – 250 g

  5. Candied fruits – 100 g

  6. Cinnamon stick – 2 pc.

  7. Vanilla pod – 2 pc.

  8. Carnation – 6 buds

  9. Nutmeg – 0,5 tsp.

  10. Ginger, red pepper, coriander, allspice – one pinch each

Method of preparation

  1. Pour boiling water over the orange, remove the zest and squeeze out the juice.

  2. Put the orange components in a glass container and add all the remaining ingredients. Add alcohol base.

  3. Cover the jar with a lid, shake well and leave in a warm, dark place for about 7 days.

  4. After a week, the drink must be filtered, passed through a coffee or cotton filter two or three times, and then bottled.

  5. We cool the raisin tincture and serve it to the table.

Raisin tincture with oriental notes

Ingredients

  1. Raisins – 100 g

  2. Dried apricots – 100 g

  3. Vodka – 500 ml

Method of preparation

  1. Dried fruits must be thoroughly washed, dried and poured into a glass container.

  2. We pour in the prepared alcohol and leave it for 14 days indoors without direct sunlight.

  3. After the specified time, we filter the finished tincture, and squeeze the dried fruits.

  4. After filtering the drink, pour it into a bottle, cool and start tasting.
