Rage is an advanced degree of anger, an extreme form of manifestation of anger. Active opposition to what we consider evil, the desire to fight, fight for your idea, rights, freedom, independence or other values. Children — for their sweets and grievances …
Rage is a resource state, but energy-intensive. Ordinary people have reduced intelligence in anger, but communication professionals are able to launch rage within the framework of the tasks set, use rage effectively and expediently. Watch the video from the film «Liquidation» — David Gotsman’s rage is accurately calculated and used to obtain the necessary investigative information.
Rage is good for overcoming fear.
Rage as a personality trait
People who are inclined to fall into a rage are more likely to be generally characterized by negativism and emotional instability. If it suddenly turns out that there is nothing to fight for (or with no one), such a person is still looking for enemies or is at war with himself. Otherwise, the emotional background very quickly changes in the direction of its decline: fear (the meaning of life is lost), despair (I don’t want to live), despondency (I don’t live).
How rage is made
Rage, like any other emotion, is made up of three components: internal text, facial expressions and body, picture-situation:
- Facial expressions and body: a terrible face (bulging eyes, tension of the nostrils), sharp explosive movements, threats in intonations,
- Inner Text: Threats and verbal intimidation (“I’ll tear you all apart!”, “May you all die, ghouls!”, “You’re done, you bastard!”, “Shut up or I’ll kill you here!”)
- Picture-situation: for example, a young man was surrounded by several hooligans. I don’t care that there are several of you and each of you is two heads taller than me! I may die in this place, but you will regret for a long time that you contacted me.
Signs of rage:
- Discoloration of the skin of the face (for example, redness or whitening), the appearance of individual blood vessels on the skin of the face.
- Desire gu.e. scold and shut up the interlocutor. An increase in the number of obscene (obscene) expressions.
- Fists itch, I want to hit, push sharply, dig into my hair.
- Desire to hit with some object or throw something heavy.
- Head off.
