Radish salad: recipe. Video
Radish is a very healthy vegetable that contains fiber and vitamins. In addition, it goes well with meat, apples, vegetables, herbs, cheese and other popular components of salads. Grate a fresh radish or cut it very thinly, so this vegetable will better show its original, slightly pungent taste.
Simple radish and pumpkin salad
One of the simplest recipes involves a combination of sweet pumpkin and spicy green radish. Combine it with sweet sauce, the contrast of flavors will become even brighter.
You will need: – 200 g of green radish; – 200 g pumpkin; – 3 tablespoons of olive oil; – 1 teaspoon of liquid honey; – 0,5 cups of shelled walnuts; – 0,5 lemon.
Peel and grate the radish and pumpkin. Stir and top with olive oil sauce mixed with honey and lemon juice. Fry the walnuts in a dry skillet, then chop coarsely and sprinkle on the salad.
Jewish radish salad with cracklings
This classic Jewish dish is prepared very quickly and served as a hot snack.
You will need: – 1 radish; – 1 onion; – 1 carrot; – 1 boiled egg; – 1 tablespoon of goose or chicken cracklings; – 1 tablespoon of goose or chicken fat; – salt; – freshly ground black pepper; – parsley; – a bunch of green onions.
Peel the radish, grate. Cut the onion into thin rings. Heat chicken or goose fat in a skillet and fry the onion in it until golden brown. Put the radish, carrots and cracklings in the pan, add salt and freshly ground black pepper. Mix everything well and put in a salad bowl. Cut the eggs into circles and decorate the dish with them. Sprinkle it with finely chopped parsley and green onions on top. Serve the salad warm, with fresh white bread separately.
For a special occasion, the traditional flaky salad is perfect. It has a pleasant fresh taste and juiciness.
You will need: – 1 black radish; – 1 carrot; – 4 eggs; – 2 sweet and sour apples; – 200 g of lean beef; – 3 potatoes; – mayonnaise.
Prepare food. Boil potatoes and eggs, refrigerate and peel. Peel lean beef, rinse and boil in a little water or grill. Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Chop the whites, grind the yolks into small crumbs.
Alternately grate pre-peeled radish and carrots on a coarse grater. Peel the apples, chop them into small cubes. Cut the peeled boiled potatoes and meat in the same way.
Puff salad can be prepared with boiled tongue or you can do without meat altogether.
Lay a layer of potatoes on a flat dish and lightly brush it with mayonnaise. Place beef, egg whites, radishes, apples and carrots on top. Grease each layer with mayonnaise. Sprinkle the surface of the salad with chopped yolks and let the dish sit for half an hour.
