If you want to make a dessert with pieces of fruit, reminiscent of confiture in consistency, you need to stir the sweet mass carefully while cooking, and pour the granulated sugar in stages. If you like a puree-like delicacy similar to marmalade, the fruit mass is kneaded with a crush at the end and boiled over low heat for about 5 more minutes.

The simplest option involves creating a delicacy from two components in 30 minutes, you only need 750 g of sugar and 1 kg of fruit. If desired, citric acid is added to preserve the color of the fruit or water to obtain the dessert of the desired consistency.
The fruits are washed with water and dried, peeled, ponytails and cores. Fruits are cut into pieces, poured into a saucepan with a double bottom. Next, add 0,5 cups of water and boil until softened for about 20 minutes. To obtain puree, use a blender or pusher, add granulated sugar. Cooking lasts 10 minutes.
Through a meat grinder
Now we give a step-by-step recipe for winter harvesting, during the preparation of which fruits should be passed through a meat grinder. For dessert, 1 kg of fruit is taken, 2 kg of granulated sugar, a quarter of 1 tsp. citric acid and a whole spoonful of cinnamon.
The fruits are sorted and washed, cut into four parts, the seeds are removed. Grind with the help of technology, add sugar and infuse for about 2 hours. Next, dishes with a sweet mass are placed on a strong fire. Cooking, during which you need to stir and remove the foam, lasts 40 minutes. After adding cinnamon, the jam must be boiled until tender over low heat.
Having poured citric acid, you can check the readiness of the dessert – it should fall off the spoon with a “thread”.

The emergence of the latest household appliances has made the life of housewives easier. If you have a multicooker with the “Multipovar” function or manual mode, you can make jam in several steps from 2 kg of fruit. You will also need water and sugar – 1 liter and 1 kg, respectively.
The fruits need to be washed, cut off the peel, discarding the seeds and dividing into 4 parts. Each of them is cut into a couple more pieces. In the bowl of the device, the desired option is selected and the temperature is set to +160 °C. After the water boils, fruits are poured, which are boiled for 30 minutes. They should be placed in a colander, find out the weight and send back to the bowl.
Sugar should be added as much as the weight of the fruit mass. Cooking lasts another 40 minutes, the temperature must be reduced to +130 °C. The resulting delicacy should dry in a deep bowl for a day.

According to the recipe, 1 kg of fruit requires 900 ml of water, 1 tbsp. l. lemon juice, cinnamon stick, half star anise, a pinch of thyme, 5 allspice and 10 black peppercorns.
The fruits are washed with running water, cut and the cores are removed. If they are of high quality, the peel is not cut off. Pour in water and boil, add spices and boil for 10 minutes. The broth is filtered with a sieve, sugar is added and boiled again, stirring occasionally. The fruits are crushed on a coarse grater, poured with ready-made syrup and boiled over low heat for 30 minutes.
From Japanese quince
Be sure to prepare the next vitamin jam using 1 kg of pitted fruit (the correct name of which is chaenomelis) and 1,5 kg of granulated sugar.
Clean fruits should be cut into pieces, chopped with a meat grinder and covered with sugar, gently mixing. It is also recommended to process the fruit and sugar mass with a blender. That’s the whole cooking process, dessert can be packed in jars.
