Quick pies for housewives are a lifesaver. They come to the rescue when time is running out, and you urgently need to please loved ones with baked goods. Such pies are also called liquid pies, because the dough for them is made liquid and simply poured into a baking dish. Literally 30-40 minutes – and you can decorate the table with an appetizing pie.

To make a quick meat pie you will need:

– 170 grams of flour; – ½ cup sour cream; – 150 grams of butter margarine; – 2 eggs; – 600 grams of minced meat; – 2 heads of onions; – 2 carrots; – ½ tsp. baking soda; – 1 tbsp. sugar; – salt; – pepper.

The dough for a quick pie should turn out to be quite liquid, like for pancakes.

First of all, prepare the dough. To do this, take a deep saucepan, pour flour into it, add sour cream, melted margarine, eggs, sugar, soda, a pinch of salt and mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Leave the dough to brew for a bit, and at this time start filling.

Take carrots and onions. Wash the carrots, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Peel the onion and chop finely. Combine minced meat with onions and carrots, salt and pepper.

Take a baking pan and pour half of the dough into it. Then lay out the filling and cover with the rest of the dough. Smooth out the top layer of the cake with a spoon if necessary. All filling should be covered with dough.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and place the cake tin in it for 30–40 minutes. After this time, check if the dough is baked. If not, put the dish in the oven for another 10 minutes.

Remove the finished pie with meat filling from the mold, cut into pieces and serve warm.

The pie according to this recipe can be prepared with any other filling to taste: from mushrooms, potatoes, chicken fillets, fish, fruits and berries.

Whip up semolina pie recipe

To bake semolina pie, you need to take:

– 400 grams of flour; – 150-200 grams of semolina; – 150 grams of carrots; – 150 grams of peeled apples; – 120 grams of cottage cheese; – 3 eggs; – 100 grams of margarine; – 1 lemon; – 150 grams of granulated sugar; – 50 grams of raisins; – vanillin or cinnamon; – salt; – baking soda.

First, prepare your apples and carrots. Wash and clean them. Core apples with seeds, then grate apples and carrots on a coarse grater.

Mash soft margarine with granulated sugar, add eggs, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, a pinch of salt, baking soda on the tip of a knife and, stirring occasionally, apples and carrots. Then add flour and semolina, put the washed and dried raisins and the zest of one lemon grated on a fine grater. Mix all ingredients into a homogeneous paste.

Grease a baking pan with margarine, sprinkle with ground breadcrumbs and add the prepared mass. Smooth the surface with a spoon and place in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for about an hour.

Remove the finished semolina pie with apples and carrots from the mold, brush the top with butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
