Question to the deputy of the city Duma – a sad story

😉 Greetings to new and regular readers of the site! Friends, many years have passed, but sometimes I remember an unpleasant story, which was served by a simple question to the deputy. Now I am a pensioner. She retired from the “sovereign” service.

Rather, I was asked to leave by His Majesty – the chairman of the City Duma. Apparently, I turned out to be an uncomfortable person. As far as I know, the rest of the “wise men of the Duma” have never had any complaints or comments against me.

Simple question

And it was like this … 2008, I – the manager of the City Duma of the city of Taganrog.

After the meeting of the permanent deputy commission on housing and communal services, the invitees and the press left the meeting room. All lawmakers remained in their places and communicated with each other.

And then I asked for attention and asked the simplest question to the chosen one of the people – Sergei Vasilyevich Konovalov (director of the Taganrog tram and trolleybus department), why tram drivers do not announce the names of stops, because there are many visitors in Taganrog?

The simplest question was asked in the presence of members of the commission (4-5 people) and the chairman of the Duma. Deputy Konovalov replied that the drivers announce stops, I just get into the wrong trams. This answer amused everyone.

On the same day, the “Deputy Tsar” ordered me to be “flogged” properly! I was invited to the office of the Deputy Chairman of the City Duma. On an educational conversation in a harsh manner.

“What do you allow yourself? Remember forever: you have no right to ask questions of deputies! You are on duty! ”

I tried to explain that the question was asked after the meeting of the commission. Without strangers, for the good of the city’s residents, because in private conversations “Comrade” Konovalov does not respond to my question! And what’s the difference who voiced the problem? The main thing is to solve it.

Several nights passed in moral agony: “For whom are the deputies? I am a voter and a resident of the city … Why is the business manager forbidden to contact a parliamentarian !? Nonsense business, but there is a lot of noise … How to continue to live with broken wings? “

But what about the law? We read: “A deputy (from Lat. Deputatus – sent) is a person elected by a group of citizens to the authorities. The task of which is to represent the interests of citizens-voters in power structures. Protection of their rights enshrined in the Constitution of the Russian Federation and laws ”.

Nothing changed

Today in the tram the guests of the city again addressed the passengers. They asked when there would be a stop “Museum of Local Lore”. Many years have passed, but nothing has changed since then. That’s how we live…
