  • Sugar sand – 250 gr.
  • Citric acid – on the tip of a knife.
  • Water – 1 liter.
  • Cinnamon – 1 stick.
  • Table vinegar (it is better to take 9%) – 60 gr.

Compote preparation process.

  1. We prepare vegetables – it is better to form small pieces, how to wash them and peel them.
  2. Pour citric acid into the water prepared in advance. It should be at room temperature. We make sure that the acid is properly dissolved.
  3. Next, add cinnamon to the water.
  4. We fall asleep all the pumpkin cubes and let them marinate. Keep at room temperature for about 8 hours.
  5. To make pumpkin compote look like pineapple, add vinegar at the end.
  6. When the vegetables are well marinated, you can put them on the fire, turning it on to the maximum
  7. When the mixture boils, add all the sugar to it. Continue to cook, stirring slightly. We do this carefully so that the pieces do not fall apart, the appearance of the product does not deteriorate.
  8. In total, the cooking process lasts about 30 minutes. After that, the compote can be poured into jars.

In this case, you should not cut too small pieces, as they will quickly boil, and the water will not have time to become saturated.

  1. Put all the vegetables in a bowl and fill with water. They put it on fire.
  2. It is necessary to cook until the pieces become soft and tender in taste. On average, 30-35 minutes should pass.
  3. We fall asleep sugar. The list of ingredients indicates the minimum amount. If you are a sweet lover, you can increase the amount of sugar to 300-400 gr.
  4. After falling asleep granulated sugar, you need to cook the dish for about 5 more minutes. During this time, it should completely dissolve. Do not forget to stir well with a spoon so that the sand does not burn.
