Preparatory work

Required products.
So, for cooking, we need the simplest ingredients:
- Pumpkin – about 0,5 kg.
- Sugar sand – 250 gr.
- Citric acid – on the tip of a knife.
- Water – 1 liter.
- Cinnamon – 1 stick.
- Table vinegar (it is better to take 9%) – 60 gr.
Compote preparation process.
- We prepare vegetables – it is better to form small pieces, how to wash them and peel them.
- Pour citric acid into the water prepared in advance. It should be at room temperature. We make sure that the acid is properly dissolved.
- Next, add cinnamon to the water.
- We fall asleep all the pumpkin cubes and let them marinate. Keep at room temperature for about 8 hours.
- To make pumpkin compote look like pineapple, add vinegar at the end.
- When the vegetables are well marinated, you can put them on the fire, turning it on to the maximum
- When the mixture boils, add all the sugar to it. Continue to cook, stirring slightly. We do this carefully so that the pieces do not fall apart, the appearance of the product does not deteriorate.
- In total, the cooking process lasts about 30 minutes. After that, the compote can be poured into jars.
- We roll up the jars with lids and cover them.
- It is better to use compote chilled.
Recipe No.2
Pineapple compote, made from the usual pumpkin itself, can be prepared according to another recipe. This recipe is one of the easiest to make. Even an inexperienced housewife can easily cook it.
Required products.
- Pumpkin – 400 gr.
- Water – 2 liters.
- Sugar sand – 250 gr.
In this case, you should not cut too small pieces, as they will quickly boil, and the water will not have time to become saturated.
Compote preparation process.
- Put all the vegetables in a bowl and fill with water. They put it on fire.
- It is necessary to cook until the pieces become soft and tender in taste. On average, 30-35 minutes should pass.
- We fall asleep sugar. The list of ingredients indicates the minimum amount. If you are a sweet lover, you can increase the amount of sugar to 300-400 gr.
- After falling asleep granulated sugar, you need to cook the dish for about 5 more minutes. During this time, it should completely dissolve. Do not forget to stir well with a spoon so that the sand does not burn.
- Now you can pour it into jars.
Recipe No.3
To make the pineapple taste more noticeable and better felt, you can add a little juice of this fruit to the cooking. Here is another slightly modified recipe.
Required products.
- Pumpkin – 1 kg.
- Water – 1 l.
- Pineapple juice – 0,5 l.
- Sugar – 500-600 gr.
If you wish, you can cut the pumpkin into rings. In this case, it will look even more like a pineapple.
Compote preparation process.
- While you are working on the vegetables, put the pineapple juice on the fire and boil it. If there is no freshly squeezed, packaged is quite suitable.
- Pour juice over vegetables and let them stand for a while, soak up the aromas of the sun and summer.
- We put the water on the fire, pour out the sugar, bring to a boil.
- Arrange vegetable slices in jars. Pour sugar filling into jars.
- We close the lids and let them cool in a cool place, after wrapping the jars with something warm.

- Pumpkin – 3 kg.

- Water – 3,5-4 liters.

Compote preparation process.

- Pumpkin – 2 kg.

Compote preparation process.
- We prepare vegetables – we clean and chop them.
- Oranges must be washed, squeezed juice. We chop the zest.
- Place water and sugar in a small bowl. Boil for about 10 minutes until a homogeneous syrup is formed.

- Water – 2,5 l.

Compote preparation process.
- We prepare vegetables – chop and clean them.

- We take a bank. We lower the vegetables down, then comes the sea buckthorn.

Compote preparation process.

- Pour in water and bring to a boil over medium heat.
