– The greatest attention should be paid to how healthy this activity is from the point of view of physiology. For example, if we choose between chess and swimming, swimming is better. If we choose between wrestling and skiing, skiing is better. Classes for children should be physiological, useful, and contribute to its development. And any professional sport is categorically excluded. Although all the world champions boast that they were brought to the section at the age of 6-7-8. God forbid! This is generally a story about poor Western families who have no other way to earn a living but to send their children to sports. In Russia, for some reason, wealthy parents are trying to send their children to sports.

– Additional load should not be given to a child from any age. You can offer circles and sections. And then the child will decide whether he likes it or not. Keep in mind that up to 12 years old, a child can throw circles and sections. Child psychologists believe that sustained interest is shown only after 12 years. So be prepared for the fact that you will spend money and time, and the child resembles, resembles and leaves the classroom. There is no need to swear at him because of this. His choice, his life. In a year or two, perhaps, the child himself, without your participation, will return to this section or circle.

– Children are all different, and the age of children is also different. Moreover, how much time the student spends on homework plays a huge role. According to the norms of the Ministry of Education, it turns out that in primary school it is from 15 to 40 minutes, and in secondary school it is an hour and a half. In a real situation, a toddler can spend up to three hours preparing, while a high school student can spend all five hours. Therefore, when you give your son or daughter some kind of load, consider the volume of school assignments. Ideally, circles and sections should not be daily and, of course, no more than one lesson a day. It is believed that children get tired on sports, although on music you can get even more tired due to nervous tension, and on sports, on the contrary, you can relax. So, I find it difficult to endure two sessions a day.

– Watch him! He can constantly attach or want to sleep, become capricious, nervous, hyperemotional, whiny. These are behavioral signs. But there are others: scoliosis from static stress, vision problems from sitting for a long time at gadgets. Children who do not have a separate place (their own room) generally suffer. First a school, then an extended program, then a house, where again he cannot retire …

– It should only be if it harms his school performance. If there are no problems at school, then let him go. By the way, when I was in school, my parents limited me: I picked up two marks – rest at home. Correct at least three or four, you can return to the section. The state, by the way, followed this.

– No need to persuade or persuade. But if you think that the child has a perfectionist problem – he drops out of any classes, if it doesn’t work out – you need to go to a child psychologist.

– Parents are responsible for children for children until they come of age in any case. Yes, a child should have two hours of doing nothing for himself / herself every day. But doing nothing is not gadgets or even TV. This is when he himself is looking for something to do. He can read a book, he can play Lego, he can take a walk on the street … You should allow watching videos on the Internet for an hour and a half on weekdays and no more than four hours on weekends.

You can interest you with a personal example. Start exercising with your child, rather than waiting two hours in the locker room for the activity to end. Once, at a lecture in London, a man asked such a funny question: “My son began to study poorly, but I have a private plane, and now I am thinking, take it with me or let him fly with everyone on the flight?” So, children should live the way of life of their parents, use what belongs to the family, and if adults have nothing to eat, then children have nothing to eat – this is the main thing.
