Homemade coffee tinctures have unique aroma and taste properties. In moderation, they improve mood, drive away fatigue and sleep. We will look at three different recipes for these drinks.

In many ways, a positive result depends on the quality of the ingredients. Use a well-purified high-quality alcohol base (vodka, alcohol 40-45%, moonshine or cheap cognac) and aromatic coffee.

Classic coffee brew

Ingredients:

  • ground coffee – 60 grams;
  • vodka (moonshine, alcohol) – 0,5 liters;
  • water – 100-200 ml.

At the third stage of preparation, lovers of sweet alcohol can add sugar to taste, you will get a drink that resembles coffee liqueur, but without cream and milk.

Recipe

1. Brew coffee, cool it to room temperature and strain.

2. Mix vodka with coffee, leave the resulting drink for 5-7 days in a dark place at room temperature.

3. Dilute the tincture with water to the desired strength and stand for another day before use.

Store in tightly closed bottles. Shelf life up to 5 years.

Coffee tincture on vodka (alcohol, moonshine) – a simple recipe

Tincture on lemon (orange) and coffee

Citrus zest goes well with coffee, resulting in a tincture with a pleasant mild taste.

Ingredients:

  • vodka (moonshine) – 0,5 liters;
  • water – 200 ml;
  • instant coffee – 1 teaspoon;
  • orange (lemon) – 1 piece;
  • sugar – 2 tablespoons;
  • vanillin – on the tip of a knife.

Recipe

1. Remove the top peel (zest) from a lemon or orange without white bitter pulp and dry it in the sun for a couple of days.

2. Mix vodka, coffee and water in the infusion container. Add finely chopped or grated zest with vanilla.

3. Close the jar tightly and place for 7 days in a dark place at room temperature. Shake once a day.

4. Add sugar, mix until it is completely dissolved, then put it again for 7 days.

5. Filter the finished coffee tincture on orange or lemon through cheesecloth and bottle it. Shelf life up to 3 years.

Orange coffee variant

Coffee moonshine (tincture on beans)

Usually this recipe is used to refine moonshine, but the taste of alcohol or vodka can be improved in the same way. It turns out a drink with pleasant citrus notes and a light coffee aftertaste.

Ingredients:

  • orange (lemon) – 1 piece;
  • moonshine – 0,5 liters;
  • roasted coffee beans – 30 pieces;
  • sugar – 5 tablespoons.

The fruit needs a medium size so that it fits whole in a container for infusion. You can change the proportions of sugar at your discretion or do without it.

Recipe

1. Scald an orange (lemon) with boiling water, shallowly piercing the peel with a knife, insert coffee beans into the holes around the entire circumference of the fruit.

2. Place the citrus in a jar, pour vodka, add sugar, tightly close the lid and leave for 30 days in a dark place.

3. Strain the coffee tincture through cheesecloth, then bottle it. Shelf life up to 3 years.
