When should you think about proper bowel cleansing?
When there is a habitual constipation
“What is it?” you may ask. Habitual constipation is when your intestines do not work as they should, as a result, you go to the toilet “in a big way” once every 3-4 days. Many do not even pay attention to the frequency of the chair. And very wrongly! If you want healthy hair, nails, beautiful skin and a light weight, make sure not only to eat, but also to go to the toilet every day. You don’t often visit the “faience friend” – it means that your digestion is slow, the body tends to accumulate unnecessary things – slags, toxins, excess fat deposits. Urgently adjust the work of the intestine!
When the diet causes constipation
Going on a diet is quite stressful for the body. The amount of food and the number of its meals, the composition of products, and the drinking regime change dramatically. The intestines may react to such changes with diarrhea or constipation. If the first one passes by itself in a day or two, then the second one will last from three days to a week. Especially strongly suffer from constipation on protein diets. Our favorite “kremlevka” and the Dukan diet especially strongly inhibit the work of the gastrointestinal tract.
Proteins are absorbed almost completely, so the urge to go to the toilet appears less often than usual. The food gets little fat-containing products, which should “lubricate” the intestines and promote its contents “to the exit”. The diet on the diet is noticeably poorer, the number of products that help the intestine decreases. As a result, feces accumulate, there is a heaviness in the stomach, the body begins to poison itself with toxins. Therefore, we urgently get rid of constipation!
When you got too carried away with laxatives
It happens that in attempts to lose weight or restore digestion, we get carried away with taking laxatives, thinking that this is good: the more it comes out, the healthier and cleaner the body. But this is a misconception, and prolonged use of laxatives, especially oral (those taken by mouth), irritates the intestines and stretches its muscles. They stop contracting, and atony occurs. To prevent this from happening, we urgently get rid of oral laxatives and learn how to properly clean the intestines!
And how is it-correctly?
In this case, correctly – it is safe and comprehensive. There are several ways to set up a chair:
- Lots of drinking. Drink more than 2 liters of clean water a day, 200-300 ml at a time, so as not to stretch the intestines. Drink in the morning on an empty stomach, and then half an hour before or after a meal. It is not recommended to drink during or immediately after a meal, so as not to disturb the composition of gastric juices. Copious drinking is very good for constipation.
- “Anti-constipation” diet. Include in each meal a little flaxseed, rapeseed, vegetable, paraffin oil, use kefir, eat boiled beets, eat prunes or prune compotes.
- More movement. For the intestines to work, the whole body must work. Do exercises on the press: “scissors”, “bicycle”, twisting. They stimulate all the muscles and organs of the abdominal cavity.
- Mom’s massage. Do you remember how your mother used to stroke your tummy clockwise? Do the same circular movements in the morning and evening. Self-massage works wonders, believe me!
- Rectal laxatives. Use rectal laxatives (candles) on a natural basis when you need to quickly get rid of constipation. They do not irritate the upper intestine, like laxative pills, and do not inflate the stomach, like drugs with lactulose. You can use candles for everyone, even pregnant and nursing mothers.
