Promotional film with Audrey Tautou

The film will appear in 2009. The video will be directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, who previously collaborated with Tautou on Amelie and The Long Engagement. According to representatives of the fashion house, the new advertising film about Chanel No. 5 promises to be not only as bright and beautiful as its predecessor with Kidman in the lead role, but no less expensive.

In 2004, Kidman starred in a two-minute video for which she was paid £ 5 million. Then the spot was directed by Baz Luhrmann. The director of the film “Moulin Rouge” (the main character of which was also Nicole) chose the roof of the metropolis as the main scene of action – this is where the star escapes from the paparazzi. From the adventure on the roof, only the memory of a kiss with a mysterious man, played in the video by Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro, pendant and fragrance Chanel No. XNUMX, remains. This video has become the most expensive in the history of the fashion house.

Recall that the face of the fragrance at different times were also actresses like Carole Bouquet, Catherine Deneuve, Estella Warren, Lauren Hutton, Jean Shrimpton and even Mademoiselle herself.

Well, in addition to advertising filming, Audrey Tautou is already working on Anne Fontaine’s film Coco Avant Chanel – about the young years of Gabrielle Chanel.
