Prometheus returns to Gastronomy

The program offers the experience of the main references in the food sector and the resources of access to the market, providing visibility and viability

Reimagine Food has launched a new call for the accelerator of business projects related to food that it calls Prometheus

The new challenge looks for a dozen startups that are willing to leave a unique mark within the food sector, developing a revolutionary project that needs boost, fuel and ingredients such as financing or commercial action of the idea.

The mission is to find those who are presented as a true company within the International forum of the Mobile World Congress, Alimentaria  next February and Food Revolution Forum what will you do Reimagine Food together with EsadeCreapolis in Barcelona and in the Foro Food Investors scheduled for December, with no specific date and which will be carried out jointly IESE and Reimagine Food in Madrid.

This edition of Prometheus is much more than an acceleration program. It is where technology and business converge… We are going to try to decipher the future of food to try to revolutionize the food sector.

The initiative that is presented within the program will offer startups chosen a financing of up to € 300.000, as a result of the collaboration agreement with your Investors Club, that has the support of companies such as Gallina Blanca, Natura Bissé or Europastry among others.

Trends in the world of food

El Prometheus program focuses on the development of activities that, from a disruptive approach, will be, in his opinion, the levers of change in the field of Gastronomy, understood as a business. 

We highlight the different areas where the focus of the projects must deepen to build a reality that is more than latent:

  • Delivery environment and food delivery in all its states.
  • Retail environment and the shopping experience.
  • Smart Kitchen environment and connectivity.
  • Scope of Nutrition, where science still has a lot to contribute in the field of intolerances and superfoods.
  • Beverage Environment and the transformation of the consumer experience.
  • The Pag Mediaoy its evolution in the short term.

In order to be part of the Prometheus project, startups that want to participate must be companies that have already been established and have an accredited technological base (Big Data, IA, Mobile, etc...) and arrive on time for the presentation of the projects, open only until December 9.
