I am now a supporter of compulsory vaccinations of selected professional groups, which are very vulnerable and at the same time are a threat to others. There is some hope in drugs that will block the severe course of the disease by a huge percentage – says Prof. Krzysztof Simon in the Friday magazine Polska Times.pl.

“There are specific methods of fighting the epidemic, some are more radical, some are less, undoubtedly washing your hands, keeping your distance and wearing good masks is one of those methods. The second – and not the only one, because immunity can also be tested – is the use of vaccination as such on a mass scale »- said Prof. Simon.
In an interview with Magazyn, he admitted that he is “now a supporter of compulsory vaccinations, not of the whole society, but of selected professional groups, who put themselves at great risk and at the same time pose a threat to others”.
“So I mean the obligation to vaccinate for the health service, for absolutely all other possible services, for babysitters in kindergartens, nurseries, wherever there is great exposure and easy transmission of the virus to other people” – said the professor.
The newspaper noted that experts believe the peak in infections may be around Christmas, but the peak in deaths will be later, Prof. Simon said, “I think we’re going through the top right now, these last two or three weeks, and then it’s going to flatten out.”
