The recipe for the classic homemade processed cheese
Homemade processed cheese made according to this recipe is high in calories. You can make hearty sandwiches with it or include it in sauces. To make cheese, you will need the following ingredients: – 1 kilogram of cottage cheese; – 1 glass of milk; – 4 tablespoons of butter; – 1 teaspoon of baking soda; – salt to taste.
Mash the curd and baking soda and place it in a saucepan of milk. Put it on low heat and keep on it until the curd is completely melted. After that, add oil to the pan, salt the mixture to taste and bring it to a homogeneous state. Pour the hot product into molds, cool and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Then serve the finished cheese on the table.
The flavor of the cheese can be enriched by adding chopped nuts, herbs or peppers.
Homemade melted cheese recipe with basil and garlic
Fragrant processed cheese with garlic and basil is suitable for those who follow the figure, since it requires low-calorie foods to prepare it. It is quite simple to prepare it, for this you will need: – 200 g of low-fat cottage cheese; – 0,5 teaspoon of baking soda; – 1 teaspoon dried basil; – salt to taste.
In a small saucepan, stir the curd and baking soda, then place in a water bath. First, stirring constantly, melt the curd until smooth. Then add basil, salt and garlic to it. Stir all the ingredients thoroughly and transfer the cheese mass to the mold. Cool and refrigerate.
Homemade melted cheese recipe with mushrooms
Processed mushroom cheese is a real find for gourmets, it has a pleasant smell and wonderful taste. To make such a cheese, you will need: – 500 g of cottage cheese; – 1 egg; – 100 g of butter; – 0,5 teaspoon of baking soda; – 3-4 boiled mushrooms; – salt to taste.
In a deep bowl, combine melted butter, cottage cheese, egg, salt and baking soda. Then whisk all the ingredients with a blender to make a homogeneous mixture.
The mushrooms in this recipe can be replaced with finely chopped ham or bacon.
Place the curd mass in a water bath and cook it for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly. Grate the boiled mushrooms on a coarse grater and add them to the cheese. Mix the melted product with the mushrooms well and pour it into the molds. Cool the cheese to room temperature and serve.
