There are several rules that will help get rid of contamination without unfortunate consequences for your product:

• when buying a thing, you can always find a small piece of fabric made of the same material. This is a special tester on which all stain removers can be pre-tested. After you decide on the choice, proceed to remove the ink mark on the product;
• use methods from gentle to more aggressive;
• do not press on the fabric. Use aggressive means to treat the ink trail without grabbing the fabric nearby. This is best done with an ear stick or toothpick;
• it is advisable to put a thick cardboard or plank covered with a clean cloth on the inside of the stain.

Applying these rules increases the chances of achieving a perfect result quickly.

Let’s try several methods, starting with the simplest ones:

• take a tester (a small piece of cloth), wet the ear stick and lather it with a special laundry soap to remove stains. Rub gently over the ink trail. Let it soak a little. Then rinse gently with clean water using a cotton pad. This method will be effective when the stain is fresh;
• you can try to remove not very clear traces of the handle with lemon juice. To do this, moisten the ink trail with it several times;
• a special stain remover for leatherette may be the simplest and most effective remedy. It is sprayed on ink, and then the place is wiped with a piece of foam rubber;
• if the contamination has not been removed, try treating the ink with vinegar essence (1 small spoonful of essence or acetic acid is taken for half a glass of water). This recipe is more suitable for light leatherette;
• take 5 parts of denatured alcohol and 2 parts of glycerin, mix and process the ink trail;
• mix ammonia with soda and treat the problem area;
• Car surface cleaning spray can also remove handle marks.

Remember, after each remedy, wipe the cloth with a damp cotton pad or cloth.
