Calculation formula
The volume of a prism is equal to the area of its base multiplied by the height drawn to the base.
Note: the formula and calculator are applicable to the following types of prisms:
- straight – side ribs and, accordingly, faces are located at a right angle with respect to the base. If the base of such a prism is a regular polygon, then it is also called regular.
- oblique – side edges and faces are inclined relative to the base.
