Print panel
- Click the tab Fileto open Backstage view.

1 copies
Here you can choose how many copies of the document you want to print. If you plan to print multiple copies, we recommend that you print a test copy first.
2 Print
When you’re ready to print your document, click print.
3 Printer

4 Print range / Document information
Here you can choose whether to print all pages, only the current page, or use custom printing to print only specified pages.
5 Single-sided and double-sided printing
Here you can choose whether to print the document on one side or on both sides of the paper.
6 Collate
This item allows you to collate or not collate the printed pages of the document.
7 Orientation
Here you can choose Book or Landscape orientation.
8 Paper size
If your printer supports various paper sizes, you can select the size you need here.
9 Fields
In this section, you can adjust the size of the fields, which will allow you to more conveniently arrange information on the page.
10 pages per sheet
Microsoft Word allows you to print more than one page per sheet. The ability to fit several pages on one sheet can be very useful in some cases, but remember that the more pages you fit, the more difficult the text is to read.
11 Preview area
Here you can evaluate how the document will look when printed.
12 Page selection
Click on the arrows to see other pages of the document in Preview areas.
13 Zoom adjustment / Fit to page
Clicking on a command Fit to page, You will fit the sheet to the size of the window Preview areas.
Press and hold and drag the slider to adjust the scale. The number to the left of the slider shows the scale value as a percentage.
You can also open the panel printby simply pressing Ctrl + P on keyboard.
The order in which a document is printed
- Go to panel print and select the desired printer.
- Enter the number of copies to be printed.
- Select any additional options as needed.
- Press print.
Custom Print
Sometimes it is not necessary to print the entire document, in which case it would be more correct to use custom printing. If you want to print multiple individual pages or ranges, Word lets you specify exactly what you want to print.
How to use custom printing
If you want to print individual pages or ranges of pages, you will need to separate them with a comma. For example: 1, 3, 5-7, 10-14.
- Go to panel print.
- In the Pages enter the page numbers to be printed.
- Press print.
