Espumisan is a preparation whose active substance is simethicone. Its task is to break the gas bubbles accumulated in the food and gastrointestinal mucus. After rupturing, the bubbles are either absorbed into the intestinal walls or excreted. Espumisan should be used to treat the symptoms of flatulence of various causes.
The use of Espumisan is indicated before performing ultrasound examinations and radiological examinations of the intestines, gallbladder, stomach, pancreas and kidneys. Thanks to it, we will avoid the accumulation of gases that could obscure the image of the organ being examined. Espumisan is available in various forms. Check what the price of Espumisan is.
Price of Espumisan – capsules
Espumisan capsules contain 40 mg of simethicone. It is suitable for children over 6 years of age, adolescents and adults. Take 2 capsules of Espumisan 2 to 4 times a day.
The price of a package of Espumisan in the form of capsules depends on the size of the package. The price of Espumisan in a package containing 25 tablets is about PLN 6. The drug is also available in a much larger package containing 100 tablets. The price of Espumisan in a large package is about PLN 17.
Espumisan can also be obtained in the form of soft capsules, as Espumisan MAX, which contain a higher dose of simethicone. One capsule is as much as 140 mg of this substance. In this form, Espumisan can be used by adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.
One tablet can be taken at a time with a meal. However, do not take more than 5 capsules during the day. A package of 20 Espumisan MAX capsules costs about PLN 11.
Espumisan price – drops
Espumisan in the form of drops is especially suitable for children. In this form, we can get two versions of Espumisan with different simethicone content and prices. It can be given to children who are 1 month old. You can get it in 30 ml bottles. 1 ml of Espumisan is about 25 drops.
Espumisan 40 mg contains 1 mg of simethicone in 40 ml of emulsion. The price of Espumisan 40 mg is PLN 19, depending on the pharmacy. The dose of Espumisan depends on the age of the person.
Espumisan 100 mg contains 1 mg of simethicone in 100 ml. Due to the amount of the dose, consult your doctor before giving it to infants and children. The price of Espumisan 100 mg is about PLN 22.
Price of Espumisan – sachets
Espumisan can also be obtained in the form of sachets called Espumisan Easy. Each sachet contains Espumisan granules containing 125 mg of simethicone. Espumisan Easy should not be given to children under 6 years of age.
Espumisan Easy is very convenient to use, and additionally absorbs quickly and starts working immediately. The price of Espumisan Easy is about PLN 15 for a package containing 14 sachets.

Espumisan has numerous substitutes. These include, among others:
