Presentation of the Beljanski approach

What is it ?

Professor Mirko Beljanski (1923-1998), biochemist and biologist, demonstrated a change in DNA conformation (= progressive and cumulative destabilization of cellular DNA), under the effect of carcinogens and pollutants. This destabilization leads to the 1ages stage of cancerization of the cell. In 1983 he published a book in English (The Regulation of DNA Replication & Transcription, republished in 2013, at Demos Medical editor) devoted to his research, where he exposes, among other things, a new mechanism leading to cancerization of the cell. The destabilization of the DNA of cancer cells has been more recently confirmed (see Scientific references).

Development of Oncotest

Thanks to a biochemical test to evaluate the carcinogenic potential of the molecules that he developed and called the Oncotest, Mirko Beljanski was able to select certain natural anticancer molecules extracted from two plants: the Pao pereira and  Rauwolfia vomitoria. He then devoted many years to in vitro studies of these substances and then to their action in animals grafted by various cancer cells. He studied the toxicological and pharmacological characteristics of Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria, and especially their ability to destroy cancer cells. Mirko Beljanski made many fundamental discoveries, presented over 133 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. His findings are, for the most part, recorded in the researcher’s publications and are available.

Monique Beljanski testifies

«  Mirko Beljanski discovered selective substances capable of killing only cancer cells without affecting healthy cells, which is exceptional. He sought to understand the origin of cancer; classical research attributed this disease exclusively to mutations, while Mirko Beljanski showed that, even without being mutagenic, all kinds of molecules, chemical or biological, could gradually alter the double helix conformation of DNA. It is this destabilizing modification which implies a faster duplication of cells, which have become cancerous. In destabilized DNA (the 2 chains are no longer paired with each other correctly), the messages transmitted are no longer the same. Mirko Beljanski, by reflection and deduction, found plants containing principles capable of exclusively recognizing these mismatched areas in cancer DNA (= Destabilized DNA that produces cancer), except the basal cell.

Thus, they manage to block the multiplication of these cells which eventually die (apoptosis), while healthy cells are not changed. This is why the use of these plants in prevention can be recommended in people at risk, for example to avoid a recurrence or if the environment is very polluted. This support allows to quickly kill the few cells which begin to destabilize. Today, in such a polluted world, it is prudent to do prevention. Of course, depending on the biological differences, depending on general health, hormones, age, etc., plants will have a little different potential, but the bottom line is that all cancer cells have destabilized DNA, whether the cancer is primary or metastasized, and can be blocked by these plant extracts. » (Monique Beljanski)

Beljanski approach – Therapeutic applications

This research led Mirko Beljanski to propose a new therapeutic approach to cancer. He showed that one of the two substances, the Pao pereira, also has a broad antiviral spectrum. He then focused on the fight against certain viruses, in particular the HIV AIDS virus. The anticancer activity of Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria has since been confirmed by research teams at Columbia University (New York) and Kansas University (see Scientific references).

A method based on RNA fragments

He was one of the first scientists to study the multiple and sometimes determining roles of small RNAs (in the cell nucleus, the genetic information carried by DNA is transcribed into RNA, then translated into a protein in the cytoplasm) in cellular function. In particular, he developed an ingenious technique for obtaining small RNA-fragments which stimulate the formation of white blood cells and blood platelets, in particular in patients who are congenitally immunosuppressed or following chemotherapy or radiotherapy. These RNA fragments only generate healthy cells and restore the balance of the blood formula that chemotherapy had disturbed. The activity of RNA fragments “Beljanski method” extracted from harmless bacteria was recently confirmed by a clinical study carried out at the Cancer Center Treatments of America (CTCA) in the United States.8. This same study also demonstrated the ineffectiveness of RNA-fragments developed from yeast, a counterfeit circulating on the market.1. Thanks to a contract with the Army, Mirko Beljanski was also able to study the effect of radiation and radiation protection. He demonstrated that the RNA-fragments and a plant extract, Ginkgo biloba with golden leaves, differ from traditional extracts of ginkgo green, make it possible to largely protect against the harmful effects of radiation (preventive and curative effect), in particular fibrosis.

Therapeutic indications

In general, in terms of indicative protocol, the person with cancer will take an average of 6 capsules per day of Pao and / or Rovol for a weight of 60kg. These molecules offer good synergy with chemotherapy. It is important to combine the two plants because they do not have quite the same mode of action. As the Columbia University study showed, the Pao pereira  leads to apoptosis, while the Rauwolfia vomitoria intervenes in stopping the cancer cell’s duplication cycle. This treatment should be taken continuously during the illness. Once in remission, it will be recommended to do 2 to 3 cures per year. As a preventive measure, a cure 3 times a year will be desirable, depending on the toxicity of the environment, the medical history, the intensity of the stress, the immune fragility of people.

Beljanski Approach – Biography

Mirko Beljanski worked for 28 years at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, ten years at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Châtenay-Malabry and ten years in a private laboratory. He has devoted many years to the study of cellular regulatory mechanisms, in healthy cells and in cancer cells.

Mirko Beljanski was born in 1923 in Turija, a small village in Yugoslavia. After obtaining his baccalaureate, he came to France to study biology at the Sorbonne. After his State degree in Doctor of Science, he was hired as a biologist and researcher at the CNRS to work at the Institut Pasteur. He married Monique Lucas who became a biologist at the CNRS. They began to work together under the supervision of Professor Macheboeuf, Thesis Director of Mirko Beljanski. “Mirko was very demanding of himself and of others and consumed by his passion for scientific research. Passionate, he lived only for his work, he talked about it constantly. He was a good man, but very demanding with himself and with the members of his small team, and concerned that his associates were happy at work. He always doubted, and therefore everything had to be rechecked over and over again, he was extremely careful and very observant ”(Monique Beljanski).

Director of the Institut Pasteur

After the death of Professor Macheboeuf in 1953, Jacques Monod became the Director of the Institut Pasteur. Difficulties in labor began for Mirko and were never to end. Monod wanted to impose on all his ideas. Mirko Beljanski was one of the first molecular biologists to study RNAs which play a dynamic role in cell regulation. In 1960 he received the Charles Léopold Mayer Prize for his work on the role of RNA in the process of protein synthesis. For 30 years, he studied in particular the functioning of DNA and RNA and made many discoveries. He discovered, for example, reverse transcriptase. The transcriptase inverse is an enzyme that converts DNA into RNA that exists not only in viruses but also in other organisms such as bacteria, fungi and fish. He developed the Oncotest, a biochemical test for evaluating the potential of molecules in the environment in the functioning of genes: “Mirko understood that the pollution leads to the gradual and cumulative destabilization of DNA and he had developed a rapid laboratory test and not requiring much material in order to test several molecules. His way of thinking was a mixture of intuition, knowledge, research. He never had his mind at rest » (Monique Beljanski).

His cancer research

His new vision of carcinogenesis was confirmed when he showed that natural extracts had the property of inhibiting the synthesis of cancer DNA (always destabilized) and not that of healthy DNA. Mirko Beljanski had to leave the Institut Pasteur in 1978, because his ideas were too opposed to those of the employees of Pasteur. He then joined the Faculty of Pharmacy of Chatenay-Malabry where he used his mastery of cell deregulation to design supplements capable of providing effective help to patients, without side effects. He continued to publish. It was during this exceptionally fruitful period that he developed 4 extracts: Pao Pereira, Rauwolfia Vomitoria, Ginkgo, and RNA fragments. Mirko Beljanski also showed that one of the products, Pao Pereira (Geissospermum) possessed a broad antiviral spectrum. He then focused on the fight against HIV, the AIDS virus. From 1988, Mirko Beljanski moved to the Biological Research Center (CERBIOL) in Saint Prim, near Lyon, where he perfected his extracts and use protocols. François Mitterrand, President of the French Republic used Beljanski products to control his very advanced prostate cancer metastases and finish his second term. The secret was revealed in Dr. Claude Gubler’s book, “Le Grand Secret”.

After Mitterrand’s disappearance in 1996, the government attacked Mirko Beljanski and put him under investigation. The use of Beljanski products in Europe resulted in the researcher being the object of real persecution related in a book ” Mirko Beljanski or the Chronicle of a Scientific Fatwa »(Edition Trédaniel, Paris). As a result of these persecutions, Mirko Beljanski contracted devastating leukemia. No longer having access to his own products, he died in 1998. Many patients protested in the streets of Paris and Lyon to demand free access to Beljanski products. The case was brought before the European Court. Mirko Beljanski devoted nearly 50 years of his life to scientific research, always accompanied by his wife Monique who was his research assistant and Drs. L. Le Goff, M. Plawecki and MY Aaron-Da Cunha who joined him. When he made his discoveries on cancer, dozens of doctors in France and Belgium joined forces with him to analyze how these new extracts could help them complement traditional protocols, but they were also attacked by the system. Today, Mirko Beljanski’s work continues in the United States.

Beljanski approach – Scientific validations

The researcher’s findings have attracted the attention of several American research institutions. Mirko Beljanski’s work has not only been confirmed but also deepened.

The effects of Rauwolfia vomitoria and Pao pereira

The anticancer effects of Rauwolfia vomitoria or Pao pereira, alone or in combination with chemotherapy, in ovarian cancer and pancreatic cancer have been studied. These two cancers are frequent and very difficult to treat because they are very often resistant to chemotherapy. Whether cancer cells are sensitive or resistant to various chemotherapies, these studies confirm that Beljanski extracts not only decimate these cancer cells but, in addition, they present a beautiful synergy of action with various chemotherapies. the Pao Pereira alone eliminates tumor growth by 79% and a decrease in ascites volume of 55% is observed. When combined with chemo treatment, tumor inhibition has reached 97% and ascites (fluid buildup in the abdomen) is completely eradicated. The study concludes by saying that: “Pao Pereira has an effective anti-tumor activity and could enhance the effect of chemotherapy because it has therapeutic potential in the treatment of ovarian cancer.. ” the Rauwolfia vomitoria is no less active and has the same synergy of action with chemotherapy.

The University of Kansas Medical Center has published two studies on the anti-cancer activity of extracts of Pao pereira and Rauwolfia vomitoria on pancreatic and ovarian cancer cell lines. These articles confirm that the two plant extracts, Pao pereira et Rauwolfia vomitoria, inhibit cancer cells even when cancer cells are resistant to chemotherapy. The results also indicate that healthy cells are not affected, which demonstrates the perfect harmlessness of the plant extracts studied and prepared according to the method of Professor Beljanski. These results were obtained with extracts provided by Natural Source International, Ltd. and cannot be transposed to different preparations. The Kansas research team evaluated the benefit of combining Beljanski extracts with chemotherapy. The synergy had already been highlighted by Mirko Beljanski. It is again verified here on these two types of cancer which are particularly difficult to treat, namely ovarian and pancreatic cancers. These very positive results therefore bring new confirmations to the work of Mirko Beljanski and were the subject of an initial presentation at a scientific congress in May 2012 in Oregon (United States) (Anti-cancer activity of extracts from Rauwolfia vomitoria and Pao tosnow: Integrative Medicine and Health, May 2012).

In 2006, the scientific team of Dr Aaron Katz of Columbia University (New York) published a study concerning the anticancer properties of one of the Beljanski extracts, the Rauwolfia vomitoria, against prostate cancer, publication published in theInternational Journal of Oncology. A summary in French by Professor Henri Boiteux takes up the main elements. A similar scientific study on the Pao pereira (pear wood) was made and the same Columbia University team published a confirmation of the effectiveness of the extract of Pao pear2.

A phase I clinical study concerning a population of men with a high PSA level and therefore at risk of prostate cancer in the short term, was carried out on the synergistic action of the two anticancer extracts, Pao pereira et Rauwolfia vomitoria. Dr. Katz’s team in the Department of Holistic Urology at Columbia University is now preparing to launch a new study to measure the anti-inflammatory activity of Pao pereira.

The effects of Beljanski RNA fragments

The renowned cancer treatment center, Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), has completed a major Phase I clinical trial involving Beljanski RNA fragments. The target population consisted of cancer patients subjected to various chemotherapies. Thanks to the RNA-fragments method Beljanski devoid of any toxicity, these patients recovered their normal platelet count and were able to withstand heavy therapeutic protocols. The results were published in the online magazine Bio Med Central3. It says that Cancer Treatment Center of America (CTCA) tested two types of RNA fragments: RNA fragments from Escherichia coli K12 Beljanski method and those obtained from yeast. Interestingly, the yeast-based fragments do not lead to an increase in the number of platelets and therefore are of no use, while the E. Coli K12 (Beljanski method) induce a spectacular rise in the number of platelets and white blood cells which can be observed within a few hours after a drop induced by chemotherapy.

Mirko Beljanski’s work continues to arouse the interest of many doctors and journalists in the United States. Sylvie Beljanski continues her father’s work and has become a specialist in environmental medicine and detoxification. She regularly hosts conferences around the world in English and French on the Beljanski Health Approach.
