Panty – antlers of deer during their annual growth. In spring and early summer, the bone tissue has not yet completely hardened, has a spongy structure and is filled with blood. Maral antlers are a valuable raw material that is used for the preparation of medicines and tinctures. Extracts and bioadditives are used to treat diseases of the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular diseases, as a tonic and tonic.

Healing properties of antlers

Maral antlers have been used in folk medicine since ancient times – the first record of their healing properties is contained in a scroll found in the Chinese province of Hunan. Archaeologists attribute the time of burial to 168 BC. A comprehensive study of deer antlers was carried out in 1928 by a group of Soviet scientists led by Professor S.I. Pavlenko. Five years later, they patented a tincture of deer antlers, called “Pantokrin”.

Subsequently, the study of the effect of deer antler extract on the body continued for several decades. Scientists concluded that pantocrine has a whole range of useful properties:

  • enhances the motor function of the stomach and intestines;
  • improves the mechanism of urination;
  • helps with menopausal disorders;
  • beneficial effect on the state of the nervous system;
  • accelerates the regeneration of damaged tissues;
  • normalizes blood pressure;
  • tones the body.

Maral antlers contain 18 amino acids, of which more than a third are glycine, proline and glutamic acid. Chemical analysis showed the presence of more than two dozen microelements in young horns. In their concentration, the Altai deer surpass their Korean and New Zealand relatives.

The complex of substances is responsible for almost all, without exception, biological processes in the body. In addition, antlers have a high concentration of testosterone and estradiol, which allows them to be used to treat sexual disorders.

Preparation of tincture of deer antlers

Maral antler tincture is produced on the basis of raw materials collected in Altai maral breeding farms. Horns are harvested in May-June, when males are most active. The procedure does not harm the deer, the shoots are simply cut off, and then they grow back. Maral horns are considered the most valuable of all types of similar raw materials, so their cost is high. Altai farms sell unprocessed antlers online, but the price for 100 g reaches several thousand rubles. For such an amount of raw materials, 0,5 liters of vodka will be required.

Antler tincture recipe

  1. Put the antlers in a glass jar.
  2. Pour vodka or alcohol solution (40% vol.).
  3. Keep at least two weeks in a dark place.
  4. Strain, pour into another bowl, store in a cool place.

The classic way to prepare pantocrine is from fresh horns, which should not be overdried or ossified. They need to be cut into small pieces 0,5 cm thick, also pour vodka, but stand for at least a month, periodically shaking the jar.

The easiest way to make a dietary supplement is to purchase pure pantocrine from a pharmacy. In this case, you will need 30 g of the drug, the exposure time does not exceed 10 days. It is not necessary to strain the finished tincture.

Scheme of administration and contraindications

Maral antler tincture is taken in courses of 25 drops half an hour before meals for three weeks, then a ten-day break is taken. A long-term effect is obtained by taking the remedy from three to five courses.

Compresses are recommended for people suffering from diseases of the musculoskeletal system – in this case, the soft tissue is impregnated with tincture, applied to the sore spot and insulated. The procedure time is no more than an hour.

Contraindications for tincture on deer antlers:

  • hypertension;
  • atherosclerosis;
  • heart failure;
  • severe forms of jade;
  • malignant tumors.

Antler tincture stimulates the gastrointestinal tract, therefore it is not combined with drugs that enhance intestinal motility. Before treatment, be sure to make sure that there is no allergy to dietary supplements. With the appearance of skin itching, headache, increased blood pressure, the intake should be stopped immediately.
