What is Prenalen?

Prenalen is a group of preparations for pregnant and lactating women, which include dietary supplements and medical devices. These products contain natural ingredients composed in such a way that their use is safe during pregnancy, as well as before or after it. The available variants of Prenalen include a dietary supplement in liquid, sachets and tablets, a nasal spray for a runny nose or lozenges for the throat. Prolaktan Prenalen powder drink is recommended for nursing women.

Prenalen preparations should be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and taking into account contraindications and warnings. Reaching for the preparations should be avoided if you are allergic to any of the substances mentioned in the composition of a given product.

Prenalen Liquid – a supplement for pregnant and lactating women

Prenalen in liquid form (syrup) is a source of natural, biologically active substances from garlic and raspberry and black currant juice concentrates. The supplement provides the body with vitamin C and zinc, which support the proper functioning of the immune system. Prenalen Fluid contains:

1. garlic – has antibacterial and antioxidant properties, strengthens the immune system. Dry garlic extract used in Prenalen liquid is odorless and standardized for the content of four bioactive ingredients: allicin, thiosulfinates, allin, gamma-glutamylcysteine;
2. raspberry juice concentrate – helps to strengthen the body’s defenses,
3. blackcurrant juice concentrate – contains large amounts of vitamin C;
4. vitamin C – helps in the proper functioning of the immune system, additionally protects cells against oxidative stress,
5. cynk – is responsible for the proper functioning of the immune system,
6. as well as: water, glucose-fructose syrup, citric acid, flavor, potassium sorbate and zinc citrate.

How is Prenalen Fluid used? 1 tablespoon of syrup (15 ml) is taken 3 times a day. After opening, it should be stored in the refrigerator for no longer than 7 days.

Prenalen in sachets

Pregnant and lactating women can also reach for Prenalen in sachets, which also contains raspberry juice, dry garlic extract, zinc and vitamin C. The product also contains beetroot powder, black tea extract, malic acid, sorbitols, maltodextrin, flavors, silicon dioxide, sucralose and steviol glycosides. The dietary supplement may also contain lactose from milk.

The content of the Prenalen sachet is dissolved in 100 ml of warm water, the recommended daily allowance is 2 sachets.

Prenalen Qatar – nasal spray for pregnant women and nursing mothers

Based on natural ingredients, Prenalen Qatar is intended for use with rhinitis associated with infections of the upper respiratory tract and allergies. Prenalen thins the secretions, soothes irritations and facilitates breathing. Due to its natural ingredients, it is safe to use.

Prenalen Qatar includes:

1. isotonic sea salt solution, which cleans and cares for the nasal mucosa, ensures proper hydration,
2. hyaluronic acid – maintains hydration in the mucous membranes of the nose, which is important especially during the heating period and air-conditioned rooms, when the air is dry and the rooms are less aired,
3. eucalyptus and mint oils – have a soothing and bactericidal effect,
4. D-Panthenol – soothes irritations related to inflammation and swelling in the nasal passages, soothes the skin and regenerates the mucosa.

The recommended use of Prenalen Qatar spray for adults is from 1 to 3 doses up to 5 times a day (depending on the needs). Children from 3 years of age: 1 dose – up to 3 times a day.

Prenalen Gardło – lozenges for pregnant women and during breastfeeding

Based on natural ingredients, it does not contain sugar, so it can be used by diabetics. Prenalen Throat designed for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system. Natural ingredients have a positive effect on the mucous membranes of the throat and mouth. The preparation is available in orange-lemon and raspberry flavors.

Raspberry Prenalen Throat tablets include:

1. propolis – has antibacterial properties; the action of propolis is related to the presence of such compounds as: flavonoids, coumarin, terpenes, sterols and microelements;
2. menthol – soothes irritated throat and vocal cords;
3. vitamin C – supports the immune system, reduces fatigue and protects against oxidative stress;
4. as well as: isomalt, sucralose, citric acid, flavors and cochineal;

In orange-lemon tablets Prenalen Throat Immuno we will find:

1. propolis;
2. vitamin C;
3. and also: natural orange flavor, turmeric extract, lemon oil, gum arabic, water, sorbitols, maltitols, citric acid, sucralose, beeswax (white and yellow).

The manufacturer recommends the use of Prenalen Throat tablets 1-5 times a day. The lozenges are designed to be sucked slowly until they dissolve. Do not use in people who are allergic to bee products and propolis.

Prolaktan Prenalen – a dietary supplement for breastfeeding women

The series of Prenalen products also includes the Prolaktan Prenalen dietary supplement, i.e. a powdered drink for breastfeeding women. It is a preparation with roasted cereal extract, banana flavor with vitamins, which has a positive effect on psychological functioning during lactation and child care. The composition of the Prolaktan Prenalen supplement includes:

1. thiamin;
2. vitamin B12;
3. vitamin B6;
4. vitamin D;
5. niacin;
6. biotin;
7. nettle leaf extract;
8. pumpkin seed extract, including L-tryptophan,
9. and also: sugar, inulin, roasted barley and rye extract, powdered banana juice, silicon dioxide, natural aroma.

Prolactan Prenalen is in the form of sachets, the contents of which should be dissolved in 1/2 glass (approx. 150 ml) of warm milk and mixed thoroughly before use. It is also possible to take the powder mixed with yoghurt. The daily dose of the Prolaktan Prenalen supplement should not exceed one sachet.
