Pregnancy test: pale streak

Each test contains a reagent that changes color if a special hormone gets on it. It is present in the body of people of both sexes. But when a woman becomes pregnant, its amount increases dramatically. Reliable results can be obtained by performing the test during the delay period. If you hurry up and do the check ahead of the recommended time, then the amount of the hormone in the urine will still be insufficient for an accurate result. This reason is not the only one; others are also possible.

In the instructions attached to the test, manufacturers indicate that the second strip turns out to be identical to the first in case of a positive result. The purpose of the first page is to control the correctness of the actions taken. If it appears, then the steps taken are correct. For those using a quick pregnancy test, a pale streak (second) indicates either too early a check, or about other possible processes taking place in the woman’s body.

Here is a list of possible reasons for the paleness of the test:

• urine is too diluted with the liquid drunk the day before;

• a fertilized egg with abnormalities;

• pregnancy freezes;

• during pregnancy – ectopic;

• testing takes place shortly after the abortion;

• malignant formation in the uterus;

• hydatidiform mole.

There is a possibility that the purchased test will be of poor quality or expired. In the treatment of infertility, the same hormones are used, and if this fact took place, then this will also be reflected in a pale streak.

To exclude an error, it is recommended to repeat the testing after two weeks. If the results remain the same, then be sure to visit the gynecologist. In the event that there are suspicious deviations in health, this is extremely necessary.
