1. Against nausea and vomiting: ginger
Many people suffer from nausea and / or vomiting in the first trimester of pregnancy. We do not know the origin with certainty, but the hormonal upheaval, with the sudden increase in the level of beta-HCG, is one of the avenues chosen. The anti-nausea benefits of ginger are recognized by the High Authority for Health and the WHO. It aids digestion and stimulates the flow of saliva, bile and gastric secretions. If you like strong sensations, you can consume it – organic, of course – in small pieces, or concoct an herbal tea. To take advantage of its assets, the solution is also to take it in capsules, in the form of a dry extract (Maternov nausea). Otherwise, you can also breathe a mixture of essential oil of ginger and lemon essence (5 drops of each in an inhaler stick).

Pregnancy is a sensitive period for the body’s defenses. To strengthen them, drink sea buckthorn juice, a berry packed with antioxidant vitamin C. You fill your cart with citrus fruits, kiwis, parsley or peppers, organic, because they are full of them. Another important vitamin for immunity, vitamin D. To avoid a deficiency, we supplement all future mothers. Finally, we support the intestinal microbiota, essential for immunity, as well as the vaginal flora, which is more sensitive during this period, by taking a course of probiotics.
2. To relieve hemorrhoids: red vine
We could do without these venous dilations located at the level of the anus! They are favored by pregnancy and cause pain, itching and even bleeding. To boost venous circulation and protect the walls of the veins and blood capillaries, capsules or vials of red vine leaves are taken. Their richness in anthocyanosides and tannins acts effectively on the circulation.

4. To relieve a runny nose: the homeo option
In winter, it is difficult to escape the common cold and its cohort of small signs such as a runny nose. The first reflex to have is to wash it with an isotonic seawater spray. Its richness in mineral salts and trace elements protects the nasal cavities. To stop the symptoms, homeopathy is a gentle option. One tablet of Coryzalia® (Boiron) is taken 6 to 8 times a day until improvement. We space the takes. We stop when the nose is no longer running.
