“Praskoveisky” is a well-known cognac of a Russian enterprise, whose specialists have been trained at cognac factories in France. In production, young wines from white grapes are used: they undergo double distillation and mature in oak barrels at least half a century old.

The history of the Praskoveiskoye holding began with a wine warehouse, which was built in 1900 in the Stavropol Territory by order of the Excise Duty Administration. Until the October Revolution of 1917, the uninterrupted supply of wines from the warehouse and distillery in Praskoveisky provided alcohol to the entire Stavropol Territory and all southern regions of Russia. During the revolutionary period, production was suspended, and in 1921 it was resumed.

The distillery worked successfully even during the Second World War, sending the produced spirits to the front. But in 1943, the plant was bombed and restored only in 1946. At the same time, a new shop was opened – a cognac shop, which in 1966 was reconstructed and turned into a powerful state-scale production. In the 70s, local residents showed Vladimir Kostin, cognac master of the factory, a spring with silver-containing water – soft and optimal for blending drinks. Since then, only this water has been used in the production of cognacs.
