Chickenpox is an infectious disease caused by the smallpox virus. Children suffer from it most often. One of the main symptoms of chickenpox is a rash that appears all over the body, which over time becomes lumps, followed by vesicles, pustules and crusts. The hatching time of the virus lasts from 12 to 21 days. Within 24-48 hours of their onset, a rash and further skin lesions appear.
The rash initially appears as small spots, 5-10 mm in size. Over time, they turn into red lumps that cause a feeling of intense itching. After a few more hours, they are filled with serous fluid, as a result of which they turn into bubbles. Over the next 2-3 days, they take the form of formed pimples that become keratinized and dry. The last stage of skin changes is the transformation of pimples into scabs. After their descent, scars or discoloration may appear, which also disappear with time. Permanent scars only remain in the case of excessive infection of the skin eruptions. It is estimated that the number of eruptions during the course of the disease may be as high as 1500.
Treatment of chickenpox consists in relieving the bothersome symptoms it causes. For this, paracetamol (which reduces fever) and antihistamines (against itching) are given. How do you take PoxClin CoolMousse?
PoxClin CoolMousse is intended primarily for use in patients under 18 years of age. It is recommended to use PoxClin CoolMousse at least 3 times a day, or each time the patient feels the need to apply the product. To enhance the cooling effect, store PoxClin CoolMousse in the refrigerator.
PoxClin CoolMousse should be applied directly to skin lesions. You should spread a small dose of the preparation on the skin and let the foam evaporate, which will have an immediate soothing effect. There is no need to massage or pat the foam into the skin.
PoxClin CoolMousse can be used both day and night. It is recommended to cover the skin with it each time the patient changes clothes. PoxClin CoolMousse can be used throughout the development of the disease and at any stage (up to a maximum of 30 days).
Precautions when taking PoxClin CoolMousse
