Previously, moonshine was used for its manufacture, now viburnum liqueur is made on vodka or alcohol.

Ingredients:

  • 2 kg of berries;
  • liter of alcohol;
  • 200 d Sahara.

Viburnum berries are best harvested after several frosts. They will become sweeter, the bitterness will decrease, and the soft berry will release the juice more easily. We remove the collected berries from the ridges, wipe them to clean them of dirt.

Advice! You can’t wash the berries – they contain natural yeasts that are responsible for the fermentation process.

Slightly crush the berries, sprinkling them with sugar. They must release the juice. Let them roam for two days.

Attention! The contents of the jar should be stirred every 4 hours.

In the bottle in which the liqueur will be prepared, lay out the berries and fill them with alcohol or vodka, put it in a dark place.

Every 3 days, the liquid fraction must be drained into a separate bowl, where it should stand for a day. During this time, the berries in the bottle should be mixed a couple of times. After 24 hours, pour the liquid part of the liqueur back.

To get the finished product according to this recipe, you will need to be patient, because it will take a long time to infuse viburnum liqueur – at least 4 months. But the highest quality it is obtained after a seven-month insistence. The recipe does not have strict proportions. We do everything by eye.

We wash the berries and put them in a 3-liter jar, not reaching the top by 1/3. The rest of the volume should be occupied by sugar. We pour alcohol – how much will go in. It is better if it is pure alcohol, but vodka can also be used.

Warning! Close the jar very tightly so that the alcohol does not evaporate.

You need to insist the liquor in the dark. When the ripening period of the drink is over, drain the liqueur, squeeze the berries there and add sugar syrup to taste.

Liquor made from viburnum puree

Proportions for making a drink: 1 part berry puree, the same amount of sugar and 2 times more alcohol. We sort the berries, remove them from the ridges, grind them with a meat grinder or blender, and then additionally wipe them through a sieve. We spread the berry puree in a container for infusion, add the same amount of sugar by weight and pour in 2 times more alcohol.

Infuse the liquor in a dark and cool place for about a month. After this period, the liqueur is filtered. If desired, the drink can be diluted with boiled water.

Viburnum liqueur with honey

The proportions for preparing such a liqueur are extremely simple. You need to take equal amounts of honey, berries and alcohol. The fruits of viburnum pounded with honey must be kept for 24 hours. Then they should be filled with alcohol. Insist a couple of weeks.

Especially good liqueur from viburnum helps with asthma and colds. It reduces the risk of seizures and prevents colds. If you suffer from hypertension, ulcers or gastritis, this tincture can greatly alleviate the condition.

Adding lemon zest to the pour will give it citrus notes.

For 0,5 liters of vodka you will need:

  • berries – 300g;
  • honey or sugar – 150 g;
  • a peel of one lemon;
  • water – a glass.

We press the prepared berries so that the juice is formed. If you use sugar, you will have to boil syrup from it and water. Boil it for about 5 minutes, carefully removing the white foam.

When using honey, it is better to simply dilute it with boiled water, as heat treatment weakens its healing properties.

Mix crushed berries and honey or sugar syrup. My lemon. With the smallest grater, carefully remove the yellow skin from it – the zest.

  • dry viburnum berries – 1 cup, fresh or frozen – 2 cups;
  • belepiha – 1 glass;
  • 3 bud of carnation;
  • a teaspoon of pink and black peppercorns;
  • 2 star anise stars;
  • honey or sugar – 100 g;
  • vodka or alcohol – 2,5 liters.

Attention! It is not recommended to replace pink and black pepper with allspice.
