Cherry plum liqueur turns out to be very fragrant and rich in color, depending on the variety.

As an alcohol base, you can use vodka, food alcohol and moonshine without foreign odors.

The berry is better to use fresh, it must be fully ripe and not spoiled.

Cherry plum without vodka

The pouring according to this recipe resembles homemade wine, but is much sweeter. The strength of the finished product ranges from 8 to 12 degrees.

Ingredients

  1. Cherry plum – 2 kg

  2. Granulated sugar – 1,5 kg

  3. Water – 200 ml

Method of preparation

  1. The cherry plum must be thoroughly washed and, if desired, the bones removed, if the bones are not removed, then the cherry plum must be pierced with a toothpick in several places.

  2. We shift the prepared berries into a glass container, add granulated sugar and fill with water. After mixing thoroughly, we tie the neck with gauze and put it in a dark place for 2-4 days until the first signs of fermentation (hissing, foam and sour smell) appear.

  3. As soon as the active fermentation stage has begun, instead of gauze, we put a water seal or a clean glove with a small hole on the finger. We leave for 25-45 days in a dark place until the fermentation is complete.

  4. After the specified time, we filter the liquor through a purchased or home-made filter, and squeeze the pulp well and also pass it through the filter.

  5. Pour the finished cherry plum liqueur into glass bottles and leave for 60–90 days to stabilize the taste in a dark, cool place. Store the finished product for no more than 2 years.

A simple cherry plum brew

The strength of the finished liqueur ranges from 28 to 32 degrees.

Ingredients

  1. Cherry plum – 1 kg

  2. Vodka – 1 l

  3. Granulated sugar – 150 g

Method of preparation

  1. The cherry plum must be thoroughly washed and, if desired, the bones removed, if the bones are not removed, then the cherry plum must be pierced with a toothpick in several places.

  2. We transfer the prepared berries to a glass container and fill it with an alcohol base. Let it brew for 1 month in a dark place at room temperature.

  3. After 30 days, we pass the cherry plum tincture through the filter, pour it into a glass container and leave it in a dark place.

  4. Add granulated sugar to the alcoholized berries, mix thoroughly and put in a dark place for 30 days.

  5. After the specified time, drain the syrup, filter through a sieve and mix it with the tincture.

  6. We pour it into glass bottles and let it brew for 10 days before tasting. Store the finished product in a cellar or refrigerator.

Cherry plum with double alcohol

The color of the finished cherry plum liqueur turns out to be a beautiful, rich lemon color.

Ingredients

  1. Pitted cherry plum – 1 kg

  2. Vodka – 500 ml

  3. Food alcohol (70-80%) – 500 ml

  4. Granulated sugar – 1 kg

  5. Water – 200 ml

  6. Carnation – 1 pcs.

Cooking method (option 1)

  1. Cherry plum must be thoroughly washed and the bones removed.

  2. We shift the prepared berries into a glass container, add granulated sugar and let it brew for 3 hours to form and release juice.

  3. Then we add the alcohol base, water and cloves, let it brew in a dark, cool place for 3 weeks.

  4. After the specified time, we filter the liqueur, and carefully squeeze the cherry plum.

  5. We bottle and store the finished drink in the refrigerator or cellar.

Cooking method (option 2)

  1. Cherry plum must be thoroughly washed and the bones removed.

  2. We transfer the prepared berries to a glass container, add water, cloves and pour the alcohol base. Let it brew for 3 weeks in a dark, cool place.

  3. After 21 days, we pass the cherry plum tincture through the filter, pour it into a glass container and leave it in a dark place.

  4. Add granulated sugar to the alcoholized berries, mix thoroughly and put in a cool place for a week.

  5. After the specified time, drain the syrup, filter through a sieve and mix it with the tincture.

  6. Pour into glass bottles and let the taste stabilize for 1-2 weeks before tasting. Store the finished product in a cellar or refrigerator.

Cherry plum with spicy infusion

The spicy infusion used in this recipe is made from 5 ingredients (alcohol – 500 ml, cinnamon stick, vanilla pod, whole nutmeg and 5 clove buds). We transfer all the ingredients into a glass container and insist 14 days in a dark place, then filter and can be used in the preparation of alcoholic beverages.

Ingredients

  1. Cherry plum juice – 2 l

  2. Granulated sugar – 500 g

  3. Food alcohol (95,6%) – 1 l

  4. Spicy infusion – 1 tbsp. l.

Method of preparation

  1. Before proceeding with the preparation of the liqueur, it is necessary to squeeze the juice from the cherry plum. To do this, wash the berries, remove the seeds and use a juicer to squeeze the juice.

  2. We mix the resulting juice with granulated sugar to speed up and facilitate this process, you can use an immersion blender.

  3. Pour the sweetened liquid into a glass container, add a spicy tincture and fill it with an alcohol base. Let it brew for 14 days in a dark, cool place.

  4. After the specified time, the liqueur must be filtered through a sieve and poured into a glass container. We let it brew and stabilize the taste for 6 months.

  5. Six months later, we filter the cherry plum liquor through a purchased or home-made filter and pour it into glass bottles. Store the finished drink in a cool and dark place.
