The advantages of food in pots are obvious: the dishes are more aromatic and more delicate in taste than when cooked on the stove. Potatoes with chicken are no exception, the recipe for which does not require special skills or expensive products.

What you need to cook potatoes with chicken in pots
To get four servings, take: – 0,5 kg of chicken fillet; – 1 potato; – 2 heads of onions; – 1 glass of sour cream; – salt, spices to taste; – a little vegetable oil; – a bunch of dill; – 100 g grated hard cheese.
Instead of a ready-made chicken fillet, you can use a chakhokhbili set, which contains small pieces of meat on the bone. In this case, the dish will turn out to be more juicy, but less convenient to use.
Chicken Pot Potato Recipe
Peel the potatoes, rinse them, cut them into not too large pieces. Cut the onion into half rings, fillet into cubes, fry them in vegetable oil until golden brown. You can skip this step, but in this case the onions and meat will be completely stewed.
Combine chopped potatoes, meat, onions, salt, spices and herbs with sour cream and place in portion pots. Instead of dill, you can use parsley, basil, green onions, both fresh and dried. Place them in a cold oven, set the temperature sensor to 180 ° C and cook the dish for 30-40 minutes.
Do not forget to check the liquid level in the pots during the cooking process. If the juice from the meat and sour cream boils away and the potatoes remain tough, add a little water to each pot. When the potatoes with meat in the pots are ready, pour a handful of grated cheese into each of the pots and leave them in the oven for a few more minutes until it melts. The cheese forms a dense and juicy crust on top of the potatoes and meat, after which you can serve the pots to the table.
It is quite possible to prevent food from sticking to the walls of the pots even when the liquid boils off; for this, lubricate their walls with vegetable oil
If the potatoes prepared according to the recipe described above get bored, try adding new ingredients to them. The most accessible of them is mushrooms. In order to get a new taste, you can use both forest and greenhouse varieties, but remember that mushrooms cook much faster. Rinse, chop them and fry with meat and onions, then put meat, potatoes and mushrooms with vegetables in pots and bake them in the oven until tender.
