Method of cooking potatoes with chicken fillet

When the chicken is marinated, cut the onion into half rings and fry in oil in a preheated skillet until golden brown. Add the chicken and, stirring occasionally, simmer until half cooked.

Peel and cut the potatoes into medium-sized cubes. Place it in an even layer in a baking dish, top with the fried chicken and cheese. In this case, there is no need to additionally lubricate the non-stick or glass dish with oil.

Mix milk and cream, add a little salt. Pour the contents of the mold with the resulting sauce and place in an oven preheated to 200 ° C for 45 minutes. Then remove the dish, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for another 15 minutes. When a ruddy cheese crust forms on top, the potatoes with chicken fillets can be removed from the oven and served until they have cooled down.

In this version, the chicken fillet turns out to be very juicy and soft. In addition, it is an excellent source of easily digestible protein, and cooking in the oven, unlike frying, allows you to preserve a maximum of vitamins, while avoiding the appearance of harmful carcinogenic substances in the dish. So delicious potatoes with chicken fillet with creamy sauce can be safely offered even to children. And the crispy cheese crust will certainly not leave anyone indifferent.

Instead of a baking dish, you can use portioned clay pots. They look great on the table and keep warm for a long time. In addition, in this case it is possible to reduce the amount of salt or seasonings in individual portions, which is especially convenient when children or people on a diet are present at the table.
