Cooking potatoes in pots in the oven gives them a completely different flavor than a hob. And the variety of recipes for this dish will allow you to easily get new flavor combinations almost every day.

In order to cook potatoes according to this recipe, take: – 0,5 kg of potatoes; – 0,4 l of meat broth (at the rate of 100 ml for each pot); – 0,5 kg of pork pulp; – a couple of onions; – salt, spices to taste; – a couple of tablespoons of thick tomato paste or 50 g of ketchup; – 30 ml of vegetable oil.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into strips. Chop the onion in half rings, cut the meat into pieces the size of a matchbox and fry it simultaneously with the onion in vegetable oil until a golden crust appears on them. Place the potatoes on the bottom of the pots, the meat on top of it, and pour the broth mixed with the tomato paste over the contents. Cook the potatoes in the oven for 1 hour at 180 degrees Celsius, controlling the liquid level. If it boils off before the potatoes are tender, add a little more water to each of the pots.

Instead of pork, you can use poultry for a more economical and dietary meal. Fry poultry fillets quickly, otherwise it may turn out dry

Potatoes in pots with mushrooms

For a dish according to this recipe, take: – 1 kg of potatoes; – 0,4 kg of mushrooms; – 100 g of onions; – a 0,5 liter can of sour cream; – vegetable oil for frying; – salt, dill and parsley.

Peel the potatoes, rinse, cut. Wash the mushrooms, if they are small, cut them into two halves, chop the larger ones into 4 parts. This size will give the dish a richer flavor than if the mushrooms are chopped into strips. Cut the mushrooms with chopped onions in oil, then mix with potatoes, sour cream, salt and herbs. Divide the resulting mixture into portioned pots and place in the oven for 45-50 minutes, baking the potatoes at 180 degrees Celsius.

Instead of champignons, you can use any forest mushrooms, but you need to peel them more thoroughly.

Potatoes with cheese in pots

This is the easiest and most economical, but no less delicious recipe, for which you take: – 1 kg of potatoes; – 200 g of grated hard cheese; – a few cloves of garlic; – a bunch of fresh parsley or dill; – 1/2 liter milk; – 3 tbsp. l. butter.

Put a piece of butter in each pot. Combine potatoes, peeled and chopped, with minced garlic, herbs and grated cheese. Leave a little cheese to sprinkle on top of properly cut potatoes that are not too large, to form an even crust when baking. Pour milk over the potatoes and place in the oven for an hour.
