Dinner is a staple meal in many families. The evening meal is important for maintaining a relationship. When the whole family gathers at one table, of course, you want the dishes to be especially tasty and appetizing. This dish can be potato zrazy with meat.

For example, for dinner, you can serve zrazy with any familiar side dish. Usually, zrazy means stuffed meat patties. However, potato zrazy will turn out to be no less tasty and appetizing, but less high in calories. The calorie content of dishes is important for those who adhere to a diet.

Make delicious zrazy stuffed with wild mushrooms. As a sauce, ordinary sour cream is suitable for such zrazas.

To prepare the dish you will need: – 1 kg of potatoes; – half a glass of flour; – 4 chicken eggs; – 1 head of onion; – breadcrumbs; – salt pepper.

If the mushrooms are frozen, thaw them. Peel and dice the onions. Take a frying pan, pour vegetable oil into it, fry the mushrooms along with the onions. Salt and pepper the fried mushrooms and leave to cool. Add boiled eggs, finely chopped or grated to cold fried mushrooms.

Take a saucepan. Fold the washed potatoes into it and pour in the water. Cook the potatoes in the skins for about 30 minutes. Peel the slightly cooled, but still warm vegetables and pass through a meat grinder. Add two raw eggs, flour, salt and pepper to the minced potatoes. Mix everything well.

Take a bite of potato dough with your hands and shape into tortillas. Place some mushroom filling in the center of each tortilla. Shape the cakes into an oval shape. Dip the finished zrazy in a beaten raw egg and roll in breadcrumbs. Fry them in a skillet in vegetable oil.

You can use boiled liver as a filling. It needs to be cut into small pieces with a knife or passed through a meat grinder. Add finely chopped and fried onions to the liver. Onion and liver proportions – 1: 1

Meat, cereals, and vegetables can serve as a filling for such zraz. For example, make a filling with bell peppers, onions, and carrots. To do this, you will need: – 1 carrot; – 1 head of onion; – 1 bell pepper; – 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil; – salt.

Take a frying pan and put it on fire. Pour in vegetable oil. Peel the onions and cut them into small cubes. Place the onions in the skillet. Add carrots peeled and chopped on a coarse grater to the onion. Simmer vegetables until half cooked. Peel the bell pepper from the stalk and seeds, wash, cut into cubes or small strips. Add the peppers to the vegetables and simmer for 5-10 minutes until tender. Salt and pepper the minced vegetables, add herbs to taste. Form zrazy and fry as per previous recipe.

Zraz also means the so-called potato dumplings. The dish common in Belarus is called sorcerers. A similar dish is found in Lithuanian cuisine, called zeppelins. If vegetable or mushroom zrazy can be attributed to dietary ones, potato dumplings are a more satisfying dish.

For Belarusian zraz you will need: – 2,5 kg of potatoes – 5 pcs. onions – 100-150 g flour – 1 chicken egg – 600-700 g minced meat – herbs, salt, pepper – bread crumbs.

Potatoes need to be peeled and grated on a fine grater. Transfer the grated potatoes to cheesecloth folded in half and squeeze out the juice. Do not pour out the potato juice. Add salt, raw egg and flour to squeezed potatoes, mix the ingredients. The minced meat must be defrosted. Add chopped onions and black ground pepper, salt to it. Mix everything well.

Gently drain the settled potato juice into another bowl. Starch should remain at the bottom of the dish containing the juice. Put it in the potato dough. Mix the mixture well again and form the zrazy. Take a little potato mass, make a cake on the palm of your hand or in cellophane. Place some minced meat in the middle of the tortilla. Make a pie. It needs to be rolled in bread crumbs.

Fry the zrazy in a pan with heated vegetable oil. Place the fried grains in a saucepan. Mix the potato juice with the cream and pour over the zraza mixture. Simmer them over low heat, covered for 15-20 minutes.

Lithuanian zrazy are distinguished by the fact that boiled potatoes are added to the potato dough. They are not prepared in cream, but in plain water.

Peel the potatoes. Set half of the proportion to cook, and grate the other part on a fine grater. Squeeze the raw potato mass through cheesecloth. Do not pour out the potato juice. The settled starch is also added to the raw grated potatoes. Add two heads of finely chopped onions to the potato dough. Make mashed potatoes from boiled potatoes. Mix it with raw grated potatoes in a 2: 8 ratio. Season the potato dough with salt and pepper. Make cakes from it. Place minced meat in the middle of each and form zrazy.

Put a saucepan of salted water on the fire. Add a little starch to it. Let the water boil and only then carefully dip the zrazy into it. In water with starch, the surface of the zraz will remain smooth, even and beautiful. If the starch is not put in, the zest may fall apart during the cooking process. Potato zrazy are prepared for 20 minutes. They can be served with sour cream or onions fried in lard.
