Ingredients for potato casserole

It is very important that your multicooker has a baking mode, as this is what you should use to prepare the dish. However, if there is no such mode, study the instructions and try to find a replacement for it. Also prepare the following ingredients:

– 5 medium-sized potatoes; – 500 g minced meat; – 4 eggs; – 2 onions; – 250 g sour cream; – 3 tbsp. flour; – salt and pepper.

After choosing the ingredients, start preparing them. Put the minced meat in a deep bowl. Peel and rinse the potatoes thoroughly, then cut into circles.

If you will be the first to cook the potatoes, cut them into wedges, transfer them to a saucepan and cover with water. If you do not do this, the surface of the slices will darken.

Add minced meat to the mix. To do this, finely chop the onion and put a pinch of salt and pepper in it. Mix onion with minced meat and mix thoroughly. Pay attention to one important point: onions can be fried in vegetable oil before adding to the minced meat, but if you leave it raw, the dish will end up a little more juicy.

In a separate bowl, combine sour cream, flour, eggs and salt and whisk together. You can leave the sour cream sauce as it is, or add 2 tablespoons to it. ketchup. With ketchup, the casserole will turn out a little more ruddy. Just do not choose a product that is too spicy, otherwise you risk spoiling the taste of the dish.

Remove the bowl from the multicooker and brush it with butter or oil of your choice. Then place the first layer of potatoes on the bottom and sides of the bowl.

To make the casserole more ruddy, thicker and not fall apart when you take it out of the bowl, be sure to pour a little sour cream sauce over the bottom layer of potatoes.

Now put the minced meat on the potatoes and distribute it in an even layer over the bowl. Then put all the remaining potatoes on top of the minced meat.

Pour the sour cream sauce into the bowl, trying to distribute it evenly. So that it does not stay on top, but soaks the potatoes and minced meat, gently shake and turn the bowl several times. Then set the baking mode, turn on the multicooker and you can go about your business while the device bakes potatoes and minced meat.

The specificity of the preparation of the dish depends on the model of the multicooker, therefore, as soon as it informs with a sound signal that the dish is ready, check if the potatoes have become soft enough and taste the minced meat. Re-cook the dish if necessary. When the casserole is done, turn the bowl over and place on a platter.
