Potassium diet, 10 days, -6 kg

Losing weight up to 6 kg in 10 days.

The average daily calorie content is 900 Kcal.

Diseases of the cardiovascular system in our time, unfortunately, have become much more frequent. Moreover, they are at the top of the list of causes of death in many countries around the world. In addition to the fact that troubles with blood vessels threaten with heart attacks and strokes, they first make themselves felt with less noticeable and terrible consequences: frequent headaches, shortness of breath, decreased activity and performance, etc.

You can solve this problem by changing the usual diet. For the healthy functioning of the heart and blood vessels, potassium is simply necessary, and therefore its inclusion in the menu increases the chances of improving the condition of these vital organs. The main task of the potassium diet is to introduce food rich in this miracle mineral into the diet.

Potassium diet requirements

If we talk about potassium-containing foods on which we will base our nutrition, we should pay special attention to potatoes, bananas, millet, sorrel, carrots, apples, apricots, various greens, pumpkin, tomatoes, garlic, legumes, almost all types of nuts, cocoa, grapes, melon.

While following the potassium diet, you need to stop consuming salt.

As you know, in the description of many diets, it is recommended to drink plenty of water. But in the case of the potassium method, it is not advisable to consume more than 1,2 liters of liquid per day. The fact is that the liquid, although it flushes out harmful substances and toxins from the body, takes away minerals from the body, including potassium. So you don’t need to drink too much. Please note that the recommended rate includes not only water, but also teas, coffee, juices and other drinks that you drink. The largest amount of allowed liquid should be scooped from clean water. The body cannot be left without it, so that, having solved one problem, it does not provoke the emergence of many others.

According to the requirements of the potassium diet, you need to eat 6 times a day, breaking the daily volume of food into small portions. This technique is divided into 4 stages. The first and second stages last 1-2 days, while the third and fourth should take 2-3 days. Thus, the maximum duration of the diet is 10 days. If you feel that this period is too long for you, sit on a diet for at least 6 days.

Alas, problems with the cardiovascular system often make themselves felt not only to people of mature age, they also occur in children and adolescents. For the younger generation, a special version of the potassium diet was developed, which provides for the consumption of food with a higher calorie content than on the standard method. After all, a growing body (even if a teenager is overweight) needs more energy.

  1. The main advantages of the potassium diet include its unconditional benefits for the cardiovascular system and the entire body as a whole.
  2. Sitting on such a technique, as a rule, is not burdensome or troublesome.
  3. All products used in it are simple. They are easily obtainable and most are inexpensive.
  4. In addition to improving the condition of the body, by reducing the daily calorie intake to reasonable limits, you can lose weight. Along with strengthening your health, you will also correct your figure.
  5. Although six meals are provided, most snacks are made up of healthy fluids. You can take containers with them and even drink on the go. So this diet is unlikely to distract you from the usual rhythm of life.

Disadvantages of a potassium diet

  • Some doctors note that the diet proposed on the diet is still not balanced enough, because useful protein products are almost excluded from it. Not every organism will benefit from such restrictions.
  • The menu contains abundant potatoes. This vegetable, of course, contains useful substances, including potassium, but at the same time it contains a lot of starch, which may not have the best effect on the digestive processes.

Repeating the potassium diet

Only your doctor can determine the frequency of your potassium diet. Someone just needs to sit on it once or twice a year, but for someone the basic principles of the described technique should become the motto of life.
