It is a preparation in the form of suppositories, thanks to which it is possible to get rid of the troublesome itching and burning around the anus caused by hemorrhoids. Posterisan H – action and application
Posterisan H has two active substances. The first is hydrocortisone and Escherichia coli standardized culture suspension. The preparation consists of cellular components and metabolic products of bacteria killed and preserved in phenol. Preparation Posterisan H is a drug in the form of suppositories: each pack contains 10 pieces. Suppositories Posterisan H it is used in particularly severe cases of pruritus and inflammation of the perianal area, which are caused by hemorrhoids. Suppositories should not be administered to infants and children under 12 years of age. It is a drug that should always be used exactly as prescribed by your doctor, as it can cause inconvenience if used incorrectly effects side. Mostly recommended dose to 2 suppositories daily in the morning and evening preferably after defecation by placing suppository deep in the rectum. It is important not to use the medicine for longer than necessary, i.e. until the symptoms have disappeared. Posterisan H – contraindications and side effects

Just like any medicinal preparation, Posterisan H can call specified side effects. The most common reactions are related to skin hypersensitivity, manifested by burning and itching. Less common cases of allergic dermatitis are due to the development of an allergic reaction to any of the preservatives. Presentation side effects please consult your doctor. Taking the drug while pregnancy is not impossible, but you should discuss this with your doctor. If it is necessary to use this type of drug in a future mother, the risk to the child and the benefits to the mother should be assessed in the first instance. In case of breastfeeding, the active substances penetrate into the milk and therefore you should not feed your baby with such milk.
